I just wanted to give this place a shout-out! We were heading back to RepMo after lacrosse games in Columbia on Saturday, and we were craving sandwiches. Since it was a bit of a hidden gem, we decided to stop by. I totally spaced on the closing time and we showed up 30 minutes before! 😬We felt terrible when we realized it. But the lady working there was incredibly kind and gave us some amazing recommendations. Seriously, it was great! I don’t know her name, but she deserves a huge compliment! When she heard we still had a long way to go, she offered us chips, and after we ate, she brought us the check with some brownies for the road. Absolutely the best service I’ve had post Covid. If you’re reading this and you’re the one who served us, THANK YOU! You’re awesome! I highly recommend eating here, whether you’re local or just passing through. We’re definitely making the drive back just to eat here again.

Had a excellent service and food. Pizza was great. The only thing I would have changed is to have more cheese on cheesecake sandwich.

I'm told the sandwiches are decent but I would pass on the pizza.

Running late from getting off work they were getting ready to close. The young lady was so polite and friendly order was quickly prepared. Loved it delicious spaghetti and meatballs garlic toast.

Place smells bad. Chicken breast must be boiled, grilled and then microwaved. Bread was as dry as the Mojave desert. I think I used 10 packets of mayo just to choke down my italian which was not toasted. I think people are stuck on nostalgia if you continue eating here. Maybe the pizza is good, but you can't serve up a good sub I won't trust anything else. Caseys has better subs.

I'm 40 yrs old, and Cornerstone has been a family run buissness since I first moved to Lebanon when I was 14. They have and are ALWAYS VERY involved with our community schools and people. Their grandchildren and family work their as well. You're ALWAYS met with a smile, and if you become a regular, you bet they always remember you and the family when you come in. The food is amazing, their bread is made fresh every day, and it is a secret family recipe. It has the same diner charm, tables are also clean, food comes out fresh and is a great carry out as well. All their orders from subs, pizza 🍕 😋 is loaded down with whatever toppings you want. I had one friend who lives in Springfield but came to work in Lebanon on a construction site for a couple of months, and if they know I'm coming to Springfield, they have me bring their Cornerstone fix!

I’ve gone to this place since I was very little, and it’s always been one of my absolute favorite places to eat! The service is AMAZING especially today! I always treasure eating here and reminiscing on memories of my grandpa taking me there. Highly recommend!!!

You will not find friendlier staff in Lebanon than you do at Cornerstone. Every time and for years, no matter who they are, they are very friendly. It's that noticable when you're there that I started with it rather than the food...which is excellent. The homemade bread is the star of the show even after a management change (?). I love the cheeseburger sub on wheat. My daughter likes the meatball sub on white and my wife likes the BBQ chicken on wheat. We prefer the subs over the pizza but it's very good as well. Be warned though! The half sandwich is big, don't be fooled thinking that's it's a 6inch half sub. The full is two sandwiches at about 8inches. Go for the full so that when you get hungry later that night you can experience it all over again but I'm pretty sure that as friendly as they are, the staff doesn't make house calls...but why not ask?! If you're not from Lebanon it might be hard to find even though it's on the main drag. It's next to the O Reilly's. Enjoy!
