Bad experience. Lack of courtesy cost them a fairly frequent customer.
My wife and I had a date night tonight and we were both craving a steak. We'd never been here, so we thought we might try it, and it did not disappoint. We both had the 12oz ribeye medium rare, loaded garlic redskin mashed potatoes, a salad with appetizers of cheese curds and onion rings, and those cheese biscuits...What a treat! The steak was cooked to perfection and so tender you could cut it with a fork. The seasoning was amazing as well, flavorful and satisfying. Hands down the best steak I've ever eaten. Bravo, and well done!
The staff was great but food was not. Ordered one steak and got something cemetery different. The chef needs a poster so they can tell where a ribeye comes from. The steak flavor was good but it was full off fat and honestly just disappointing.
Due to two servers not showing up to work, and a large party in another room, it took 70 minutes before our salads to arrived, and one main arrived without it's sides. Have had much better service in the past.
Everything was phenomenal! They have definitely perfected the seasoning on the steaks! Cooked perfectly! The pulled pork nachos are to die for!
It was a Saturday night before 7:00. They were out of the first, second, and third choice of steaks that we ordered. Then when our food did come my husband and I had to switch steaks, due to the fact that they cooked them incorrectly for what steaks we finally were given.
Good food. They could use better signs to help direct folk to the correct door to the restaurant area. We almost turned around and left when we walked into the 'loud live music" area that has a cover charge ( I was not going to pay a cover charge to get into a restaurant) the manager saw us and helped get to the eatin' part of the establusjment. Food was very good, the coffee cheese cake is best anywhere!!!
It was a beautiful restaurant. Great food, great service. The view was wonderful
a good lace to eat. my steak was really really good, the wife's steak had a lot of gristle in it. Get the Coffee cheese cake, you will be glad you did. Wait-staff was very good. I do wish they had more / better stuff on the walls. We will go back again.
If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Great staff and food. The scenery is great. The beach and lake out back are great for the kids to play while the adults talk and chat. I will be back. Worth a visit if you haven't been.

Dear ELIZABETH
We booked a reservation for 2 @ 6:45 Saturday night via OpenTable since the phone listed goes to an automated message and we were not sure if our call would be returned in time for a dinner reservation. We had a short wait at the bar but were seated exactly on time. I wish that one of us had ordered the beef rib special ! Another table ordered it and it looked wonderfully delicious!!Next time!! We started with the Caesar salad . Yummy with the right amount of dressing. Note to staff: please consider bringing the delicious cheese biscuits with the salads instead of before.. We probably looked like we were starving but they were gone before we started our salads. We had the sirloin and ribeye and both were generous steaks. And not to worry, our server brought us some extra biscuits! The baked potatoes were very good simply dressed with butter as we requested. We raise and eat our own premium angus beef and are usually not impressed with restaurant steaks. We are concerned about restaurants not sourcing their beef from the USA but these were definitely the real deal. They were beautifully trimmed and perfectly seasoned. Rich beef flavor and cooked to perfection. We skipped dessert due to the generous portions so we cannot comment on that. All the staff were busy with the full house and we were very well attended by Reagan. She was professional and very knowledgeable about the origin of the beef we were served. This is a restaurant that can seat large family groups in the open layout so there is some conversational noise but it is very pleasant to see families enjoying this restaurant! Thank you for a lovely dinner and we fully expect to return and bring our friends.
My family and I just returned from lunch at Day Traders. Service was pretty good, no complaints there. My wife was hoping for a filet but there was none on the menu so she ordered the center cut sirloin cooked medium. She ordered green beans as a side, they were out of them. Her steak came out somewhere between med-well and well, far from medium. I ordered 1/2 rack of ribs, they were out of them also. I already knew green beans as a side were out. I ordered the NY Strip cooked medium-rare, house salad and mashed potatoes. No complaints on the salad (I mean it is a house salad lol) and the potatoes had a really nice taste. As far as the NY Strip, I have to be honest, I have never seen a NY cut that thin, it was somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2 inch. Cooked close to med-rare as I asked but when a steak is that thin it can be difficult for it to have that much flavor and juice. It wasn't bad but not worth what we paid, and I don't mind paying good money for a good steak at all. I don't remember how many oz it was supposed to be (I think 12oz) but I am going to guess it was between 8 and 10 maybe, it was just so thin as I said. My daughter got one of their burgers, ordered medium. She said it was OK. She actually left about 1/2 of it but did love the fries and filled up on them. BTW, she is not a finicky kid, she is 28yo. Overall, I was somewhat disappointed with the hype I had heard from some. I doubt I go back, there are just too many places that are better between home and there. JMO.
