Our party got pulled chicken nachos, fried catfish, a cheeseburger, butterfly shrimp, fries and hush puppies. We all loved all of it. Prices were very decent, server was quick and nice. I wish we weren’t just passing through on a road trip, because we would go back OFTEN!
The catfish is really the draw here for me. Whenever I’m in town, I tend to swing into Dowds and never had a bad meal although I’m not a big fan of their barbecue. The sides are not terrific here overall, but I do like their stewed green beans. The service is always friendly and the prices are all right, but the place is a little grubby.
Parking: Plenty of space for cars pick up trucks and even RVs. Big rigs have a space on the street behind the restaurant...

we are from spavinaw ok. we are here every year we love there bbq and fish what we don't like are the bbq beans they are like chili beans their slaw has no flavor I certainly do not like ice cold sour cream on my warm baked pot. sorry guys just being honest but we will be back!!!!!!
