We normally have pizza Friday nights while enjoying a few great adult beverages. This week the quality of the pizza was terrible. The first pizza seemed to be smaller than normal and had small blotches of cheese rather than placed smoothly over the pizza. This pizza was returned and a new one was made. This pizza came back the same way. We expressed the concern again and the server just apologized and walked away. We consumed the part of the pizza with cheese and trashed the remainder. Since an event was going on at Boat Town Brewing and they were very busy, we will try again and see if this had an influence. If the quality is back to the previous normal an update will be made. We will definitely return to Boat Town Brewing but may be forced to dine elsewhere prior to arrival.
Great pizza. Good beer.
Fast and so good! Got the half and half ‘Springfield’s Finest & The Chief’.

Came and the didn’t have any dough available. Brewery was dead…no reason why they weren’t prepared.
This place has a great atmosphere and excellent dining options. Allie has been my server a few times now and makes sure that everyone has great service and is pleased with their orders. It is definitely a place worth visiting…and returning to!
Molly, the upstairs bartender at The Rail is absolutely amazing! When you stop in you need to try the carbless mixes with cranberry and lemon line. They will not disappoint you!!!
Mollie at the bar upstairs was phenomenal!! She was responsive and made incredible drinks. The staff all had great personalities and were so fun to engage with!
Everything Chris and Nicole do is delicious!! Never lets me down ?

The pizza tasted way too much like the Velveeta cheese. I am one of the people who I can't stand it

Great pizza! We had the East with cauliflower crust. Who knew pimento cheese was so good. Also, the lady was very helpful with checking ingredients for medical dietary restrictions. She said the 10" cauliflower was perfect for 2 people and it was; 3 slices each.Be sure to slow down and play a game while you dine and taste-test some brews.

My wife, my daughter, and I ate at The Rail for the first time last evening. The service was friendly, but she did seem to struggle with getting a few things right, but again, she was friendly. We started with an appetizer called The Dip Rail. Basically, it’s a large bowl of chips and some of each of the 4 dips they offer. The dips were very good, and we enjoyed all of them. My wife and daughter both did the Build A Burger, and I ordered some bone-in wings. All three had something wrong with them. They brought me boneless wings, which I really don’t care for nuggets and that is what they looked like, they got the wrong cheeses on both my wife and daughter’s burgers. They corrected the cheese quickly and put in an order for my bone-in wings. When everything finally got straightened out, both ladies said their burgers were very good and my wings were pretty decent also. They were almost done with their burgers before my wings came out, but oh well. We were thinking about trying some desserts but the waitress came out with our ticket before we had a chance to ask about them, so we just decided we probably needed to get home anyway so we didn't say anything. However, the ones I saw come out looked pretty good. Overall, the service had some to be desired as far as getting the orders correct (or maybe it was the kitchen, I have no idea) but she was very friendly. I also realize that in today’s world, finding and keep good employees can be a real struggle. I suspect we will try the place again, like I said, the food was pretty good and maybe the mix-up’s on the orders were an exception and not the rule. They are worth a try.
Pizza is good, kinda expensive for a pizza.....

I love Boat Town Brewery service is always great and friendly but Rail Co Pizzeria gets low score from me for their service tonight. I stood up at their counter to place an order and got nothing but sideways stares from the staff. The young man tonight kept trying not to make eye contact (but he did and ignored me) as I stood at the counter in eager anticipation of ordering dinner. The young woman who was also working did her best to ignore me as well even though we made eye contact several times. I smiled, I waited and finally when it became silly I asked if someone could take my order. The young man looked at me like I was an alien and looked over to the woman to see if she could help. She looked at me snd looked away. He looked apologetic and I said to him "Never mind, forget it." I also tried to use their computers to order as I had done the last time i ate here and they were not working. Honestly in this day and age with eating out being so expensive and this place not being very busy you would think a customer would be appreciated and responded to not ignored. I will say that the last time I ate here it was very good . However, this recent unbelievable experience soured me and i will not spend one thin dime at this pizza place ever.

Had their peaches be like pizza, bbq brisket, peaches, jalapeños and some buratta cheese on top after being baked. Man was it soooo good! The pizza place is connected to the Boat Town Brewery so its very convenient to grab a brew and a pizza! The atmosphere is very nice and clean.Crust was a hair on the over done side for my personal liking but was still very very good pizza! Peaches could have been sliced smaller but that didnt ultimately affect the experience of the pizza.Drink choices were limited to just a couple different canned sodas, would like to see more options down the road. But for being fairly new there were ample choices that most people would have an option.Overall highly reccomend and cant wait to try out another pizza next time!
