My friends and I love coming here for the music and the crowd. However, the staff is HORRIBLE! The bartenders are very rude and aggressive, you will wait in line (which is understandable) and finally make your way to the bar. They will look directly at you and say “I am not taking your order” and take the order of the people behind you. It almost seems like they want to take orders of everyone they know first rather than people that have been waiting their turn. I’ve watched the staff scream at people in the bar, curse at patrons, put their hands on people, and celebrate their own bad behavior. It seems they are more interested in getting praise from getting people kicked out then taking orders, getting tipped, and the people trying to have a good time. Been to plenty of bars that have to kick people out, it never seems necessary to physically assault or verbally assault people to remove them from an establishment. You really need to reevaluate you training procedures, or your serving staff overall. Let’s be real, it’s a Lee’s summit bar displaying this behavior consistently…haven’t noticed this at any KC establishment in a while. Very disappointing because it can be great if staff can get it together!

So it was around midnight, me and my buddies go to this bar to have more of a relaxed setting. Ive already ordered a couple drinks and as it's getting closer to the end of our expeditions. I decide to grab a shot for my buddy and me. As I'm about to pay for the drinks, another one of my friends ask if I could get him a shot. I said sure, so I pay for my drinks, not tipping this time considering I'm getting another shot literally 15 seconds afterwards. This female bartender decided to give me attitude and be completely disrespectful towards me. Not taking into consideration the fact I have only been buying from her and tipping her every time. I get the ticket for the other shot, as you probably could have guessed, I did not tip her. And what proceeds to happen next was just unnecessary. She decides to yell in front of the entire bar that I'm a liar and does not tip. She then decides to go to every bartender telling them not to serve me for the remainder of the night. At this point I don't really care because I was about to leave anyways. I go to where my friends are standing to tell then what happened. This male bartender yells across the bar telling me to stop talking sh*t. I'm looking at him and my friends completely bamboozled about what's going on. At this point I've held my composure but I eventually lost it when they proceeded to bug me about. I told him that this female bartender was being rude and a bit*h. I don't like using that word to describe a women but at that point time, I felt it described her pretty well. They call the bouncers to kick me out and I left. I'm a college student so I occasionally partake in drinking every now and then. Back at school drinks are cheaper so I can afford to tip more. At this location they are more expensive so I tend to not tip as much. I'm broke, taking out loans, working part time, and going to school full time. So kill me for not tipping one time or not giving a $5 tip for a $12 shot. Overall, I enjoy the setting at this bar but will never be going back giving the actions of some of their employees.

I have driven out of midtown all the way to lees summit for 2 bricks brunches with Lana Luxx and it was SO WORTH IT. Worth the drive. Worth every penny. So worth it.

Oh my, saw the place driving by. Decided to stop in. Sherena made the absolutely BEST bourdon Old Fashion that I have ever had. I travel all over the USA, 320 nights a year in hotel rooms. I always such for the best bourbon Old Fashion. The service and attention was great. THIS is the pub to stop and enjoy!

I visited just long enough to pick up a carryout order, but it seemed like a nice, laid-back, easygoing place.Parking: There is no adjacent parking lot, but there is plenty of free, off-street parking within a block of the restaurant, to the north and south.

My cousin took me here for lunch, saying what a great place it was. It was. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, very festive for the holidays, and the food was just fabulous. The hamburger was juicy, the bun was fresh, and the onion rings were some of the better ones I've ever had. They should ask Uncle Jack for some new coffee mugs though, mine looked a bit sad. :) I'll be back for sure, lots of choices on their menu that I want to try.
