I tried to upgrade my fries to a large (of course paying extra) was told at 3:10pm on 5/25 that “subs aren’t allowed on coupons “ I didn’t want to sub but simply UPGRADE my fries to large. The coupon states NO SUBS but it doesn’t say no upgrades. Will be reaching out to corporate so me and the employees can have a further understanding.
Well it’s 6:45pm on a Thursday and they are closed. That’s not a great sign.
I fell asleep. So they kicked a paying customer out threatening to call the police because I was asleep 20 minutes. This is called harassment.As no other reason was given.
They made me wait almost 15 minutes in the drive thru and never even ordering food
The staff was polite, positive and as corny as it sounds they serve the food with a smile.
This location was clean and friendly just slow not sure if it's a help issue or what they wasn't busy when I visited but food was correct.
Avoid at all costs. Staffing issues that have lasted for years have resulted in closed lobby, inconsistent hours and app orders take just as long as ordering through the drive through since you still have to go through the drive through.
If you have a good 40 minutes to wait to order/get food have at it - there will be 1 less car ahead of you at this location.
They have gone downhill the last 2 years. I used to bring my babies to eat here often but last year the store tanked. They are always short staffed so you don’t know when or if the lobby will be open. I think the problem is they choose people who just don’t want to work or people who don’t care about the job. The employees that are there are ALWAYS rude and disgruntled looking. They almost always forget something/ get the order wrong. The staff always rushes you when you’re trying to order, the food is always cold. Today is my last time coming. I order 4 of the your way meals they asked me what sauces I wanted. The employee with one tooth (not to be mean) insisted we had our full order when we hadn’t gotten our drinks we didn’t want to hold up the line so we drove back around. They hadn’t put any sauces in the bags for our nuggets the girl had the NASTIEST look on her face and turned to the manager and said “They just asked for sauces” like the money for them is coming from her paycheck and as if she had already given us sauces in the first place. The other employee went outside and started smoking cigarettes. Just go to 291. 🥹
My order was recorded correctly but the cook totally screwed up the sandwiches. I asked for cheese on my fish but he didn't add any. I ordered a bacon double cheeseburger and only got one meat patty. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this kind of thing has happened. The Diet Coke has been awful for literally years. They don't add enough syrup so the drink is very bitter. Ordered a bacon cheese biscuit at 7:58am at the drive up on a Wednesday. Sat in line for bit but the disappointing part is my biscuit. It is dry, crumbly and tastes old.

Hello! I just wanted to make everyone aware of a situation that I just encountered, and warn anybody who made frequent the Burger King in Lee Summit.
This incident occurred about 2:45 PM on July 29th.

Today we stopped in to grab some quick food for our family, and ordered our son a kids meal with a milk. The milk was extremely pungent and spoiled, however, not expired. When I went inside to discuss the matter with staff, the only resolution was to replace the drink. The woman behind the counter visibly gagged when she smelled it, but her manager manager insisted that nothing was wrong. I just wanna make everyone aware of things like this so that no one, especially a child, gets sick. My assumption is that there is something wrong with your cooler, or it is not being stored properly. We normally do not taste the milk before we give it to our son, but thankfully, this time we did. What makes matters worse, is it the staff was so indifferent to the situation, unapologetic, and when I expressed my concerns of other children, possibly getting sick, she said: “that won’t happen, but you have a good day.” This just concerns me that they’re not gonna take this matter seriously. I just wanted to make people aware in case they are in that area. I did report this matter to the health department.

I'm not sure why this location reopened. I just had terrible service, possibly due to staffing shortages in part. I was the third car in line, and had a half hour wait. When I got to the window, they hadn't prepared my online order and handled my food without gloves. Do yourselves a favor and drive just a little further south on 291 and go to the better location.
