Green and white burrito is so good! I love the spice. Margaritas were tasty and the salsa is so great. Our server was wonderful and prompt with 2 kids in tow. The Snow Globe experience was very cool. People on here complaining about prices SHOULD go to Taco Bell. My burrito was so huge, I’m having the second half for lunch so I don’t care that it costs $19. Try running a small business, especially in the food service industry with Taco Bell pricing! Looking forward to supporting local once more when it switches to an Italian eatery.

The food was very overpriced and not fresh. Small portions, big prices. Bar food. Spent $100 on food worse than Taco Bell. No alcohol purchased.

The food was horrible, had better at tacobell. Everything overpriced. Server not knowledgeable of anything.

Went for the “snow globe experience“ which is basically a bunch of Dollar Tree ornaments hung on the ceiling. Food wasn’t very good (rice wasn’t even edible), super small portions, and pretty pricey. We left hungry and had to get something to eat on the way home after spending $40+ for 2 meals and water. Staff acted annoyed to have customers (we had reservations, didn’t just walk in). Definitely won’t go here again.

food was bland and not good at all. but I must say the decorations and the festive drinks were excellent. wouldn't go there again.

I went to Calaveras for a GNO last Saturday, and the Bettlejuice pop-up bar is amazing! They did such a great job with all the decorations.

However, the specialty drinks were disappointing. None of the ladies liked their drinks, and we unfortunately left after one terrible drink each. I would suggest going for the fun atmosphere but maybe stick to drinks you know you like and not the specialty drinks.

The Beetlejuice pop up is worth a look, but only in passing. Our party waited 20 mins past our reservation (while others were seated immediately) to get TWO separate tables instead of the empty long table. The server was nice and attentive eventually, but slow to start off with just minor issues like forgetting straws, drink orders mixed up.
We made our orders and drinks were out fast. The entree was just good (not $18 good) and didn't make up for the extremely bland sides. The specialty drinks were okay (not $17 okay) and the queso dip appetizer with added chorizo was good (not $17 good) and didn't come with extra chips so you had to pay for more chips if you ate your first allotment with the salsa (the salsa was good). That would push the cost to $20 for an appetizer! Our party was 8 people spread across two tables which caused a mandatory %20 gratuity (in spite of the fact we only had 8 drinks, 1 app, and 3 meals) due to this my 2 specialty drinks and 1 app was almost $60!

The atmosphere was great but the food and drinks were just okay. Overpriced for what you get. The food came out really quick which was nice.

The decorations are the only thing going for this place. We had reservations and when we showed up the host told us that the person we spoke to on the phone didn’t put it in the computer so there was no room inside for us so they put us on the patio. There was no apology for their mistake. We were outside for an hour and the server only checks on us one time for our drinks- we go inside to let someone know and they said they would send someone right out to take our food order and they never did so we went back inside to pay for our drinks and left. Again they didn’t apologize for anything. Super disappointing experience.

My wife and I came here for an anniversary date during the Beetlejuice pop-up bar. The level of decorations were WAY above my expectations. The entire restaurant was covered in Beetlejuice themed decor and was a fun experience to see. The waiter we had (I believe his name was Halston?) was superb. Super friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. He even gave recommendations! We ordered some of the themed drinks to start which were delicious, although a little pricey. For food, I ordered the Mexican Dip which was a 10/10 sandwich. I would highly recommend taking a friend or date here! I will be coming back once the Christmas pop-up bar comes back.

What a fantastic experience! The restaurant was all decked out for Halloween with the Beetlejuice theme. Wow! Visually amazing and well thought out. Service was outstanding. Drinks and food were awesome. Best dinner since we have been in KC.

If I could have given this a negative rating I would have. I love their food don’t get me wrong. I love all the holiday themes and everything. But yesterday we had a reservation at 5pm nobody greates us at the door for ten min. Then another 45 min with nobody greeting us at the table. We were going to be late for our movie so we just left. I understand being short staffed. But you at least explain to your customers what’s going on. There was no words at all. It was very disappointing. And nobody seemed to care there was no manager in site at all. I have served for many years and I promise I was half tempted to start helping to at least make contact and communicate. Truly sad.
