Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant- Lee's Summit

This was my second time and each time we had big groups, but we were taking care of by the staff and the good was fresh hot and good! I have dreams about the crab shrimp and lobster bisque! The Leonard cheese burger is really good also.

I was told the service connecting open table and restaurant was down. They didn't have our reservation and we were never seated.

Cooper's Hawk never disappoints! Always have to start with their yummy brussel sprouts. My wife and I both had the Butternut Squash Ravioli with shrimp, lobster and scallops - light and delicious, especially with the recommended wine pairing. Service was great! We ended up being seated in the bar which started out a little noisy, but cleared out and was fine. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic time with pre-dinner wine tasting. Lewis made sure we had a great time celebrating my 50th birthday with family. Our server, Mariah was perfectly attentive to our group. Food and drink were deliciously prepared. We can't wait to come back!

I was very disappointed with the service. Our dinner came before our bottle of wine. We had 2 empty wine glasses sitting on our table for 15-20 minutes. When our waitress brought our bread, the bread slid off the board and onto the table. She took the knife and stuck it into the top of the bread to put it back on the board and said "our tables are pretty clean". When the food was brought the person that brought the food threw my husband's plate down and it was spinning/wobbling and they walked away without even saying a word. So rude, not the service we are used to at Cooper's Hawk in Lee's Summit. Our interactions with those 2 people were disappointing.

We had a group of ten. Once everyone arrived, we were seated quickly. Our waitress was very patient with us and able to keep up. The menu had great options for all of us. I had pretzel crusted pork chops which were tender and tasty. I had originally planned our dinner here based on the dessert menu (my main reason for dining out!) so was very happy the meals were delicious as well. The seasonal/holday wines were excellent. We were a little dissappointed the bottles were sold out. We will be back for wine tastings and dinner!

Had six of us out for the evening. The only dish that was ordered that was good was the Mai Mai. All other plates were overpriced for the amount of food. I had a Caesar salad that was soap so much in dressing that it was almost like wilted lettuce. Took almost 30 minutes to get our drinks. Ordered the strip steak. Got a 4 ounce steak that was burnt that was supposed to be medium 

Everything was great and on point except for the filet medallions. We like rare plus to medium rare and they came out over cooked. They were quick to make it right with the next ones coming out absolutely perfect, melting on your mouth perfect. They even comped the meal even though we were perfectly happy to pay for it

Thanksgiving dinner was fabulous! Service was wonderful as well. Could have done with a little quieter music or just instrumental music would've been fine. 

The food and service was great! As a family we decided to go out for Thanksgiving and they did a great job! It was noisy however there was lots of people.

I was here on Thanksgiving, and the hostesses were so nice and friendly, I truly felt welcomed. The food was amazing, my waitress was attentive. It was busy, of course, but I wasn't rushed. All around a wonderful experience.

Cynthia was my server & she was wonderful. Very friendly & knowledgeable. The food was great! Loved the Butternut squash soup as much as the turkey. There was plenty of everything! I had to have a couple of to-go boxes. If they will be open next year for Thanksgiving, I'll be there for sure!

We got apps & drinks and everything was good. We enjoyed our food and the service was good. It was Thanksgiving so they quickly got busy but everything was as expected.

Food was excellent, wine was excellent. Food delivery was timely, but Service was pretty slow and sat with empty glasses for a long time while waiting on napkins we asked for twice 🙁

Everything was great, the appetizers were fantastic, except the one with salmon, which did not really taste that much like salmon. The wine was fantastic. When I made the reservation, they asked if we were celebrating something, and we were. I don't know why they ask that if they don't even acknowledge that when you visit the restaurant. In general, everything was good.
