Ashley R was so great taking care of our girls group lunch. The food was fabulous and the service was top notch! Love Coopers Hawk!!!

Came in for lunch today with my husband. Ashley R was our server. When we approached the hostess stand upon entering we were asked if we were a part of the wine club. We stated No. They proceeded to tell us that we could get a complimentary sample of I guess the wine of the day. They instructed us to let our server Ashley R know. I did mention this upon her greeting us and also ordered a glass of house cabernet. First of all she ask me if I had ever had their house cabernet before.. Like it was bad or something. At the end of our lunch I had mentioned that I had not received my complimentary sample. Hey. This was jot my idea but simply the hostess.. Ashley R acted as if I was trying to get my bill reduced and very loudly stated to me that they don't give out wine for free. I was humiliated. I felt like I was at the Waffle House with things being shouted at me. I will never visit this establishment again!

The service was excellent. I did not try any wine. I ordered the gumbo for my main dish and the drunken shrimp was my appetizer. Everything was delicious. However I did order a lemon drop and I was not impressed. I should of asked them to use Grey Goose because the Vodka they used was not good to me. I forgot to take a photo of the gumbo.

I was taken here on my birthday, and I have been to the location on the plaza a few times before. The food here is very good. My wife had the fish & chips, and she said they were some of the best she'd had. The parmesan-crusted filet medallions, and pistachio-crusted grouper (Surf & Turf) were excellent. While the service was attentive, our server got confused often (seemed to lack experience and/or common sense), and forgot to bring back a membership card. They also expected one of the diners to reach across the table to take a full plate of food (rather than simply coming around the table and placing it in front of the diner). This is a typical upper mid-range suburban restaurant experience with a sterile, characterless ambiance. Overall, a good experience, and I would eat at this restaurant again someday.

Nice place for lunch. They are very allergy aware and take special precautions to keep patrons safe. They also have a special menu for gluten.

Excellent service and food. Our server Matt was great. If you enjoy wine, this is definitely a restaurant you need to visit. Also has a good selection of wine oriented gifts and accessories. The flatbread appetizers particularly stood out.

It's alright. Food is very pricey for what it is, but it's decent. Wine is fairly decent too although also overpriced for what it is. Can be fun to just go into the lobby with a huge stand-up bar and do a 8-taster wine flight plus a chocolate truffle for about $12

I just sat outside for thirty minutes waiting on food. They brought it out cold. Said they didn’t see the two text messages. Very unprofessional.

This is truly the best place I have ever worked in. Between all of the serves, hosts, dish washers, cooks, SA, and managers/AGM/GM, they are what makes this place teamwork. I have never felt more supported or cared about by my team members until I came to Coopers Hawk in Lee's Summit. Everyone at the restaurant deserves a kudos for everything they bring to the table.
