Dare I say hidden gem in Lee's summit, or just a solid Mexican restaurant to go to. The atmosphere of the restaurant and the great staff make this an enjoyable place to eat and have a drink should you choose. Come hungry cause the serving sizes are well worth the price

We drove 12 hours to see the chiefs beat up the ravens. Then came here to a beautiful place called el Plato in Lee's summit. Amazing food, amazing environment. Down to earth people and very good waitresses. I'll be back for sure. Thank you all.

Really yummy Mexican restaurant in old town Lee's Summit, "El Plato" and wow, their margaritas are outstanding! Good quality tequilas! Bartender is Alexa & she did NOT disappoint! Server was a gal whose name I did not catch, short blonde hair, sweet & efficient, she was excellent & remembered my friends from their first & only visit to date.
