Great food! Suggestion would be to make the deviled eggs appetizer a little different. The caramelized bacon should be broken to bits and mixed with the egg. Or, broken up and sprinkled on top. It used to be that way.

Our server was wonderful, and the food was good. It was really nice that the Dads were given a gift card. I know it's hard to control, but we had a couple of flying bugs around our food, which was distracting. But overall, it was a great place to celebrate Father's Day.

Our steaks were under cooked rare when I asked for medium they completely forgot my lobster tail, they brought me out the wrong plate of food. The only good thing we had was our appetizer other than that was terrible, along with the poor service and long wait. Had a better experience at the location in Overland Park won't be back to this location though.

Food was good. Drinks (other than a few fruity/sweet drinks on the menu and a couple of martinis) are way overpriced. $17.50 for an Old Fashioned with Maker's Mark (a $24 whiskey) is ridiculous! Even if they pour 2 oz (doubtful), that's a 9.47 X markup. Guess I better learn to like martinis (tolerable) or Sangria (yuk). Just moved to the area, and we drink whisk(e)y, so the selection, size of pour, and pricing is important in our selection of places to dine. Food seems fairly priced, and was good. Service was good. But we are still in the search for some other favorite spots.

No Sprite. No ribs. I had the mixed vegetables and there were more onions than anything else. It made Firebirds look cheap adding so much onion. Or, they were lazy and did not realize how many were on my plate. Very disappointed.

Quality food, good drinks and excellent service. Great location for business meeting or dinner with spouse.

Mandy was great, attentive, friendly and accommodating to all requests and questions. Would go back just because of her attention to detail and her willingness to go above and beyond. Amazing service!!

Over priced for the quality. Waited too long for drink order. We got our salads and then they brought our meals a couple of minutes later. Not a fan of that.

Lovely meal. Salmon salad was excellent, maybe a little too much dressing. Parmesan crusted chicken was delicious and beautifully plated. The onky issue is, its too cold. I'm always cold so I take a coat and put it on inside. My husband is never cold and was wishing he had brought a jkt.

TLDR; $150 would have been better spent at Applebees.

I really wanted to like this place. When we walked in I was greeted with the site of a well stocked bar and knew there would be no bottom shelf Makers in my drink. The lighting was dim and the atmosphere was nice when walking in. The server was present, but not hovering. The drinks were top notch.

However, when seated there was a spotlight above our table (all of the tables are lit this way). I felt like I was on display and it was hard to read the menu because of the glare. My wife and I ordered steaks (different cuts), medium well for me and medium for her. Hers came out well and mine was rare. I sent it back and they brought it back out gray throughout with a burnt crust. I had to order steak sauce which I only do if the steak is dry and/or lacks flavor.

While the server was nice and attentive, he didn’t seem to care about the steaks not being cooked right. No offer to start again, no offer to comp anything, and no manager to walk by and offer an apology. I expect better from restaurants I visit, especially at this price point.

This place is horrible, the service was good but the food sucked! My wife a wire from their grill brush on her steak, my burger was supposed to be medium and it was just this side of a hockey puck. Oh and it was very over priced! We definitely will never go back!

So disappointed in my filet. We wanted to love this place so we had another nice date night option in Lee’s Summit, but sadly it did not meet expectations.

Our server was the best part—she was super friendly and genuine.

Lobster dip was good but our chips were soft and soggy. Bread took a long time to arrive but it honestly wasn’t worth the empty calories, messy and lacked flavor. My husband thought his chicken sandwich was pretty good. My filet on the other hand—zero flavor, dry and overcooked. I ordered medium and there was no pink. Although our server was nice, she never asked how our food was or made sure my steak was cooked properly, so I didn’t have an open window to let them know and I hated to complain. I didn’t eat the steak. Mashed potatoes were just ok.

I would love to have told the manager about our disappointment. That my filet looked and tasted more like a sirloin at best, but she never came to our table. I saw her on the line doing expo and then eating her own meal at a side table, but she never came by to see how things were going for us or any other table.

I don’t see us going back here.

Overpriced and Underwhelming

I recently dined in and was thoroughly disappointed. The food was bland and overcooked. The service was equally unsatisfactory—slow and inattentive. To make matters worse, the prices were exorbitant for such a subpar experience. I left feeling unsatisfied and overcharged. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a good meal and decent service.

I ordered the Feb special, Sliced Wood Grilled Petite Tenderloin Medium Rare
Parmesan mashed potatoes / mushrooms / blistered tomatoes / asparagus / port wine sauce

The tenderloin came out raw. Cutting into was cutting into a piece of meat that was cooked lightly on the outside and completely pink on the inside. The sides to the dish were cold when served. It was clear the steak was taking longer than the sides, and the the undone steak was served because the cooking temp was not right. Steak was not temped when taken off the grill, as food service workers would have fled at seeing how pink this steak was.
I was then served a refire that had the steak pre sliced but still bleeding all over the potatoes. I feel that a restaurant that serves 40+dollar steaks should be able to serve a medium rare order without cutting into the meat, and if the meat is cut into the blood from a medium rare probably shouldn't be apparent in the potatoes.

They refired the steak, which took about 10-15 min. My date was finished as I received my meal.

The service from management and the overall food experience was not what is to be expected from such a restaurant.
