I've had some great times at this restaurant, but recently I've noticed some service I'm not happy about. Many times, you will look behind the counter to see someone on their phone, eating food, and their waterbottles right by product. This is concerning because that is not food safe at all. Especially when someone is eating food and then goes to make a guests drink without washing their hands. In addition to this my food had been sitting on the bar for 8 minutes before I went up there and asked what it was. I did not hear them call it out or anything. And when I went up there the lady that had been eating and on her phone made it seem like it was inconvenience for me asking her if it was my food. This is not the first time this has happened either. If eating food behind the counter, being on your phone when food is still on the bar, being rude when someone asks a question, and or as a guest you can see the worker has been inconvenienced doesn't change I'm not sure if I will be coming back.

Had matcha tea latte and gluten free cinnamon roll. Service was great and cinnamon roll warmed was wonderful.Dietary restrictions: Offered gluten free treats. I had the cinnamon roll warmed. It was very good.

Went on a busy Saturday afternoon. Was able to have lunch, even though I was gluten-free because they had options which was fantastic. The sandwich was large and didn’t fall apart. As a non-coffee drinker, I was able to have options and still get some fun drinks like the Nitro Arnold Palmer. We sat at the counter, but there was plenty of seating, and even an additional conference room, and lots of people having mini book clubs, or studying or working on their computers.

Nice, quiet, quaint place with plenty of room to accommodate either a couple friends meeting for coffee or a snap business group, in the available private room in the back. Affordable prices and coffee sizes with plenty of flavors, and options, to choose from. Def be returning...

Finally got a chance to visit this place. Great ambiance. Times we have been close it's been super busy but I met some folks here early morning and it was not crowded. People may remember the old Jack Frost that was a donut staple for years in Lee's Summit... Those recipes went to a place in Grandview that provides the selection here. Let me assure you they are just as delicious as in years long gone. I'm not a coffee drinker so I can't provide info on that but I did try the Chai Latte and I got the feeling they don't sell a lot of that... And it was ok but nothing special. Granted I am a tea snob... And most places use a generic tea and enhance with sweet hot milk... So I really haven't found a local place for great tea. But I'll definitely be back soon for some more donuts.

Cute little shop. Really liked the sauce options on their bfast sandwiches (we got spicy mayo and sundried tomato)-- and especially liked the 2 GF bread options. We went with the GF multi grain and it was nice.
