Ordered the 2 eggs (over medium) with potatoes, biscuit, and link sausage. Eggs were over easy. Biscuit was ice cold. Asked for another one, and it was cold too. Didn't bother asking for another one. Potatoes, although tasty were luke warm. Link sausage was good. Our server was great. Very busy. Maybe had a 10 minute wait for a table of 7. I've ate at their Raytown store, and everything was hot.
DO NOT order the pork tenderloin sandwich. It was 90% breading and 10% pork? My wife sent it back and the server told us “my manager said since nothing is wrong with the sandwich, we can’t take it off your bill”. I’m sorry, but we wouldn’t have sent it back if there was nothing wrong with it. We paid our bill without saying a word but definitely will not be returning to Ginger Sue’s.

There were so many flavors crossed, I'm not sure what's happening in the kitchen. My potatoes tasted strongly like salmon, and the bacon tasted like it was cooked in sausage grease. I ordered eggs over medium and got overeasy at best. Finally, thinking a pumpkin pancake would save the meal, it was still batter in the middle. (No, it wasn't just butter saturated.) The staff was very friendly, and we didn't share our dismay. It was too thoroughly failed to fix. First and last visit.

It was ok. Food was ok for the price. I liked the coffee. The younger generation really need to b told that women don't like to b called guys even if they r part of a group...

The service and atmosphere here was great! Get the pancakes!! Super good!! Sausage patties were a little dry, potatoes were as well. Love the cloth napkins, but need to bump from the "disposal style" menus.
my go to safe pick for breakfast in town. never 10/10, but where really is? Pancakes are great, full service coffee bar, and potato / meat is always done well. had a tough spot during covid but they are solid again.

I had a very different picture of this place in my mind before I got there for breakfast. I expected gingham and oldies on the radio...an old person's hang out. Instead I was surprised by a novelty menu with smoothies, goat cheese and a plain decor free interior. The portions were huge and the staff very friendly. I tried the Farmer's omelette with goat cheese and a wheat germ pancake. I took half of everything home for lunch. Excellent food!

It’s a comfy restaurant. Everyone has been nice and efficient. Whoever makes the eggs is a wizard! The best scrambled eggs ever. Great prices too!

They made my eggs wrong so they brought me new ones I did not eat the first eggs they charged me for them. I did not argue. I would never go back.
