This is my third time to Hand in Glove. In the past they have had a menu of whiskey available and the price per pour. This time the bartender said they didn't have a menu.I went online to find their website and couldn't find it or a menu of available whiskey. (how are you a high end bar without telling people what is available?! We can't see the bottles hidden in the second row row of shelf 2 let alone shlef five!So I order a pour of EH Taylor small batch thinking: it's second shelf, it will be reasonably priced...but the pour is $40! Seriously! $40 for a bottle that is $120 on secondary... In Lee's Summit!?!!My friend asks how much for the Woodford Reserve DNA? it is $140 per pour for a $300 bottle!Hand in Glove: If you want to attract 20 year olds buying espresso martinis than keep it up. If you want to attract 20 year olds and people who actually spend money, make a menu of available liquor to drink with prices! If you don't want to say how much you charge for a pour it tells me you want to take advantage of me and that is not a place I will return to.My friend group of 6 whiskey drinkers will NOT return to Hand in Glove.

We stopped in on a recommendation from another business owner and we were pleasantly surprised. It is a small place, but big personality. The staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable about their drinks. I also found out that the John Chester Ross Whiskey is their own whiskey. I have seen it around town but never tried it. It was very good. I tried batch 1 and 2 and understand batch 3 comes out later this year.If you are in Lee's Summit this is a definite must stop. They have everything from great whiskey selections, fancy cocktails and even boozy coffee.

Nice little cocktail bar located in downtown Lees Summit. It was Saturday afternoon and we were looking for something to do. Our first time here. I'm surprised this place is open at 4pm. It's a nice place to come and sit, have a drink with a friend or two. Full bar selection. Nice cocktail drinks. Service was great.

Hand in Glove has been my go to stop several times a week for my morning coffee. My usual is whatever they feel like making that day. I love the atmosphere and the friendly smile and cheerful good morning from Ross. I have tried several coffee shops in the area and the drinks here are far superior. They are never to sweet and the right balance of flavor and coffee. I do know that they make several house made flavors. My favorite so far that I have had has been the Oreo iced coffee. If your looking for something that is warm and cozy highly recommend the homemade Chai. The price is great for the quality of coffee and service you get. I can get a latte for under $5 and if you want liquor in it for under $9. Driving by and looking in you would think that it was just a little cocktail bar, but it is so much more its a little hidden treasure in downtown that has amazing coffee.

Best espresso martinis in Lees Summit! Love the atmosphere in this bar. Also highly reccomend the peppermint latte on your way to work. Sooo good!

This place has a fun, eclectic vibe. They serve coffee and liquors. What a great combo! And upstairs is a speakeasy. Stop by when you are in town. It is modish with a historic twist.

They can't do a decaf chai. But I'm not going to count that against them, because everything we tried was BOMB. Weirdly, I love a good bathroom. If they paid attention to the decor, you know they pay attention to the little details. This one had neon signs over the urinal that said boys boys boys, a none sign over the traditional stool that said girls girls girls, and another sign over the mirror that said "we see what we want". Just yaaaas to all of it for me. Plus subway tiles? It gives. GIVES Joe was our server and was a delight and did a good job of answering all our questions. Loved the background information on the Picasso and Dali art, the marble from Turkey and the glass from a local bank. The drinks were stellar- we had the 19th century cocktail, the sangria, the New York mule, and the corpse reviver. Everything was stellar and super drinkable- highly recommend. We also got a burnt sugar bourbon and an Irish cream latte to go- they both had a generous amount of liquor and loved that we could walk around and check the shops downtown. The burnt sugar was less sweet than the Irish cream, but still had a nice complexity of flavor. Loved being able to get a liqueur latte to go and check out the other shops downtown. Downtown lees summit is coming up in the world. Highly highly recommend and I would absolutely go back.

Very hip and cool bar for this area. Came here for New Year's and we enjoyed a seasonal liquor chai, which was very tasty and warm. The best part about this bar is their concoction with coffee/lattes. Why not? The bar tenders really seem to enjoy the bar and making sure people enjoy their drinks. The only downside is the price. The alcoholic lattes were expected at $8 since they were also 16 oz; however, the mojitos were $13! a bit much for something that as a little on the very light side. I've had better mojitos that didn't cost as much elsewhere.

They have great bartenders and drinks. A HUGE selection of alcohol. Definitely go for the espresso martini. The atmosphere and design of the place is very nice. My one complaint is the lack of seating.
