By far this is the best Jose Peppers team I have experienced. I ate there January 10th and even though they were busy, every part of that team was on point. They all worked so well together from the moment of walk in to walking out. The hostesses were fabulous, waitress was very attentive even with a packed house, food was delicious and out to table in no time at all.. This team needs major recognition!
Texas Girl says "great Tex-Mex" food! I am always super-picky about my "Mexican" food because I'm a Texan and used to fabulous Tex-Mex. I moved to KC for my hubby and was doubtful of finding any decent Tex-Mex. This place may have the best enchiladas I've ever tasted. Get the New Mexico red chili sauce!! Awesome flavor with a "kick."
Margaritas are a bit too sweet, so we just asked for extra limes to squeeze into the drinks.
Queso and chips were excellent too.
Way to go Ed G for fantastic recipes at your restaurants...our new favorite!
Manager, Ed, is running a tight ship here and they excell in food & service!

Very slow today bad service 😒 was not that busy either. Food was delicious.
I ordered food online to take to my daughter at the hospital after having her daughter. When I got to the hospital and started going through our sacks I realized they had not included all of our order. I wasn’t going to leave to retrieve what food they didn’t give me but called the store to ask for them to refund my money. I spoke with a manager who stated she would refund the money to my charge card but they have only taken the FULL amount out and never credited back what they owe. Be very careful ordering and triple check your order before you leave…clearly Jose Peppers feels that once you leave and they have your money they don’t have to deliver the product you paid them for. I wish now I hadn’t tipped them either but of course I did…good deal for them, paid AND tipped for not giving the product the customer ordered.

I had a quiet seat near the bar, The food was very hot and the server made a point of ensuring that I knew. I was allowed to take home a free meal with a major saver coupon. My server was attentive and confident.
