Konrad's Kitchen and Tap House

I was surprised restaurant the prices were good. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. It’s a typical Bar atmosphere but it’s well worth eating lunch there. mom is a food critic and she absolutely loves her food.

Great food and service was friendly and on point. Good craft beers on tap. Not busy on a Friday during lunch. We had the Cuban and the Tenderloin (pictured in the review). Both were excellent and we really liked the fries. Atmosphere was nice and easy to have a conversation.

There is a loud train nearby so outdoor seating isn’t pleasant and the indoor seating area smelled like an old folk’s home. Their cheesy bread was pretty good, but their “bones” were underwhelming. Lemonade was also awful.

Very fun location with great service and the food is reasonably priced and everyone that was with me really enjoyed our food. A good selection of drinks as well. The inside is a cool mix of small town bar mixed with modern flare.

Konrads is by far one of our favorites in Lees Summit. The food is phenomenal. We love their pizza, specifically The Tanker, as well as the Downtown dip. If you go on a night when they have live music the atmosphere within Konrads is high and so much fun!

I’ve been to Konrad’s Kitchen at least a dozen times, and it’s usually a solid 5-star experience all around. Unfortunately, tonight was off for some reason.

There was a mistake with our order—my Bison Burger was ready well before my wife's quesadillas because of a ticket misprint. Our server, Maria M., came over right away to explain the situation and was sincerely apologetic. The food took a little longer than usual, but Maria made up for it with her outstanding service.

She was incredibly attentive throughout our visit. I mentioned my first beer was a bit warm, and she quickly recommended a different IPA that was colder—and it ended up being delicious. Despite being very busy (it seemed like she was covering the whole floor by herself), she never let our experience fall through the cracks.

What really stood out in contrast was the bar staff. We were seated at the bar area, but the bartender never acknowledged us—not even once. He seemed more interested in the baseball game on TV than the guests around him.

Overall, tonight’s visit was a 2-star experience, but Maria M. was a true 5-star highlight. She’s the reason we’ll come back again—and we hope to have her as our server next time.

I've been coming here several times a month since 2014. I've always had great service and always had a good meal. The owners seem to be here most of the time to ensure quality control.
