The ordering process is a lengthy process and the line was long as a result. Guarding the drinks behind the counter and having the cashier do everything does extend that time. We went with a group of 8 and seating was easy to find. However, I did have to wait by the kitchen for a couple of minutes until someone noticed me so I could request napkins to wipe down our very sticky table. I thought maybe they'd volunteer to do that, but no. I used the condensation from my cup to do my best. They don't have trash cans there, so I had to put the wad of sticky napkins on a nearby empty table. Food was good. My sandwich clearly had a scoop of chicken dumped in the middle of the large bun, since I had to use my fingers to push some of it out toward the edges. Otherwise I would have been eating a bread-only sandwich half of the time. The lid on my cup spilled on my shorts because it was overfilled and I didn't notice until I picked it up. $27 of our bill was spent on drinks and no one was offered a refill. In general, by guarding the drinks, napkins, and trash cans you make all of the simple problems that people solve on their own, into big ones. This was my third time here and each experience was poor.Several years later: the sandwiches are made the same, never to reach the end of the bread. No refills. They asked me for a tip this time after I waited in line, ordered at the counter, paid by myself, found a table and wiped off the gross stuff on the bench.

Italian sandwich was ok, french dip was also middle of the road. Southwest chicken sandwich was just plain bad. Kind of a mouthful of mush, not a whole lot of flavor. This place could really use some good sauces. Sides were pretty good. Lots of people here. Very popular location, but the food is nothing to write home about.

Good for food. Poor service. They ask for tips for a get it yourself meal? Seriously! I was not asked but served a dill pickle, and they charge 1.50 for this. I'm not complaining about the cost, but the lack of service in asking me if i wanted one.
