This place is a favorite dinner stop for my daughter and I. They let you customize two sides to a MOD/medium size pizza with unlimited toppings, which is perfect for us. The manager Kat is awesome, along with all of the staff there. Never had a bad experience. We love this MOD location !

We love MOD, but the Lee's Summit location seems to get worse and worse every time I go there. Today my husband and I went here for lunch, and we stood there a full 3 minutes before we were even acknowledged, even though 3 people were running around making online orders. When a gentleman finally approached us, we told him we wanted 2 mini salads and 1 MOD pizza. I swear he made the sloths on Zootopia look speedy. The amount of time it took him to just put on his gloves was mind numbing. He made the pizza, put it in the oven, changed his gloves, and then started on the first small salad. It wasn't overly complicated. Just lettuce, cheese, ham, corn and ranch. He asked if I wanted the dressing mixed in, which I did. He put the dressing on, and then sort of stabbed at the salad for a while with his tongs. There was absolutely no mixing going on. Just stabbing at the salad. He then poured it into the bowl, and awkwardly handed it to me. In the mean time, a gentleman that came in behind us was pulled in front of us to have his pizza made. His pizza was made, put in the oven, paid for, and he found a seat before my salad was even remotely close to done. After handing me the salad, the gentleman very slowly changed his gloves again, and then just sort of stared at my husband. I finally said, "I think you are just gonna have to jump in there." It was strange, like you couldn't tell if he was ready for the next order. He didn't say, "what can I get you", or "can I help you".... It was weird. While he was slowly making my husband's salad, another woman with dark hair came up, she couldn't really tell what was going on. She asked my husband how she could help him, and he said the other guy was already making his salad, however he wanted her to know that we had been there for 10 minutes, and she pulled another guy that came in after us, and his order was almost done. She became very defensive and said we weren't standing close enough together, and she couldn't tell who was with who.... It was a confusing comment, because if she thought that we weren't together, she still would have gotten his order ahead of the other guy. At any rate, she didn't want to hear about how long it was taking us.The food was great. We never have complaints there. However, I would suggest that maybe this guy work on something that doesn't require any sort of speed, and the other employees maybe work on their people skills. In the meantime, we will keep our business with other MOD locations.
