MY Play Café - Lee's Summit

First time there and we had a GREAT experience. Everything was clean, coffee was amazing, and my daughter didn’t want to leave! Such a great place to take them to play during the cold season and to mingle with other kiddos. We will be returning! And shout out to Brittany who helped us ☺️

While I love this place and have gone for several years. I noticed the play equipment and toys are worn out and need replacing. I was disappointed in my last visit when majority of toys in the infant area were in the dirty bin. No one had bothered to clean them. So my little one had very few options for playing.

Great place to have a kids bday party!!! Having the two host help with everything and guide you through the timeline just makes everything run smoothly and allows parents (moms) to relax and actually enjoy the party! Adults had fun and kids had a blast!! Thank You My Play Café!

My Play Cafe was a big disappointment. The owner was beyond rude, Tiffany I think, and the overall environment felt unwelcoming from the start. The space was extremely dirty, and the toys were beat up, old, and clearly overdue for replacement or cleaning.

What really stood out, in a bad way, was overhearing the owner speaking negatively about another local play place to her employee. It's just such an ugly thing to do and makes me want to try the other place.

I've tried to come back 3 times and each time it's been closed for parties. They don't even post that online.

It’s honestly surprising this place has more than one location. The space is boring, poorly maintained, and not somewhere I’d choose to spend time again.

Do not recommend. Will not return.

Finally took a visit with my one year old and it’s safe to say we will be back. He had so much fun, so many options even with the good group of other kids, he was able to keep busy. The cafe had a wonderful selection and very affordable.

We had our daughter’s 1st- 3rd birthdays here at my play cafe in Lees Summit Mo! Today we had Jess and KIm as our attendants for the party and they were FABULOUS! From helping blow up balloons to cleaning fruit I last minute decided on and making sure gifts that my daughter just had to open were packed up and ready to go.

The coffee bar and drinks are always an added bonus!

If you are looking for a great place for a birthday party this is such a great option!

Cute little indoor playground that's safe and entertaining for babies and toddlers great place to let them play while enjoying a beverage, coffee or snack. Lots of Melissa and Doug toys, Montessori style toys with a variety of gross motor and fine motor activities encouraging peer play. Very clean and staff is friendly and efficient. This is a smaller indoor play area w/ lots of seating for mom/dad friends to chat. I was invited to a birthday party here would recommend. For under 10yr olds.

I love coming here with my son to play! It gives me a chance to interact him with other toddlers while we aren’t in daycare quite yet, and also the atmosphere, including the staff and other parents is unmatched! Everyone is supportive of other babies going down the slide or trying out some of the toddlers ice cream toy creations!! Also Jessica has been the highlight of the last two times I’ve visited, she has the best hospitality and so sweet and kind with my kid and others, she has fully convinced me and contributed to why I’m booking my sons birthday party at play cafe and to get in a membership!

Jessica C. is so kind and usually working the days my 2 year old and I can come play. She keeps this place absolutely spotless and is just so friendly. After awhile, it just made sense to join the monthly membership! My daughter still loves coming here to play and she gets to interact with other kids her age in a safe and clean environment :)

Caffeine + playtime was a perfect match for us! We came through on a roadtrip it was the perfect stop to run around before we had to get on the road. There’s plenty of offerings for drinks and snacks, a cute retail space, and the play space had a great mix of toys! My 4 year old keeps asking when we can go back 🥳 the day we went was busy (cold and rainy out), and we loved all the energy! I also loved that I have a view of the main space from any point of the space, so I could keep an eye on my whole crew at once without feeling like I was missing someone.

This facility allows anyone to take your child here (a place they could possibly get hurt) without a parent's consent. And then they have you sign a waiver just in case the child does get hurt but do not check ID to make sure the name matches up to the person signing your child in. So you can just make up any name for yourself or the child and when you ask them about a possible false sign in they say “that’s out of our control”

What’s the point of signing a waiver and checking in if you can sign fake names?

What does actually attending the facility have to do with anything or even “noting that someone has not attended”?

Regardless - you don’t actually know if I have attended your facility or not - because you DON’T check ID - but instead “trust” every single person is telling the truth or “attending with a parent or that the parent allowed them to go there.

Make it make sense instead of silly.

We have visited twice for the Babies & Brunch event. We have enjoyed both equally and are so glad to have found an indoor play space and an opportunity to get our daughter around other kiddos her age! The Babies & Brunch event is for littles 2 and under which is great and allows an easy going and low stress environment for parents since there isn’t the worry of the little ones being trampled by bigger kiddos. They have a play area designated for smaller babies, but it’s so nice they have free range of the space during these events!
