There will never be a better breakfast place in Lee’s Summit. Every single time I stop by I’ve always been treated like a friend and welcome company. The Foods great and so is the selection. I want to particularly mention how kind the staff is, the waitress Michelle is one of the best waitresses I’ve been served by. I will be back again and again as long as I’m in Lees Summit.

Their Kitchen Sink was more than generous with its serving portions, and it came with a biscuit, but I had to get gravy on it (couldn't resist on a cheat day). Chicken and waffle is a winner, too. You won't leave Neighborhood Cafe hungry. Outstanding hospitality by the way - When I was going to the restroom, I had to pass through expo and was surprised and impressed that the staff gave way to their guests.

Never seem to get the right server. Why order coffee if you have to beg for a refill? One staff member there is super friendly but there’s 2 now that I seem to get (new one today) that are dismissive and act put out to even smile
or attend to the table.
Bacon was disgustingly soggy and seemed to have been sitting in grease with burned black sludge. Didn’t say anything because the server was just so rude anyway. Definitely not the same quality as it was with previous owners. Done with it.

Free cinnamon rolls are delicious. I rarely eat tuna out of the house, but they did my tuna melt PERFECTLY! Fries are amazing too. Took a while to get our food, but it was so worth it.

I ordered a country breakfast to go. it's supposed to be 1/4 order of biscuits and gravy, 2 eggs, hash browns bacon and sausage. Instead I received 2 eggs over easy, I think 2 scrambled eggs, 2 slices of bacon, and hash browns. Where is the biscuits and gravy, and 2 sausage links? I received a terrible meal for my money. McDonald's is a better bet

The cinnamon rolls that were brought out were so undercooked and doughy they couldn’t not be eaten. The food ordered was partially cold. Very disappointing and won’t be back. New owners are a let down.

Went to Neighbors 9:45 a.m. on Christmas Eve. Stood in line and waited to speak with the cashier. I requested 18 cinnamon rolls and was told they needed to be ordered yesterday. Very disappointed! We have always enjoyed their food but today their service was poor! I saw nothing on their website that stated that cinnamon rolls needed to be ordered on the 23rd. In fact, their website would have let me order them this morning. I left there empty handed. Merry Christmas!
