The entrees were good but the sounds and crab Rangoon were lacking. This use to be a solid place and has really gone down hill. The egg drop soup was pink because of something being added but had no broth flavor or richness.Overall is the furnishings are very worn.

Portions are very small for the price and the egg drop soup is a pink shade and when asked why they put red dye in it!!!!

A must try for take out or dine in. Service is fast and friendly. I have frequented this restaurant for many years and never had a bad meal. My favorites are the triple delight, honey chicken, and lo mien, however, it is all good! Food is fresh and hot every time I pick it up. Nice atmosphere for dine in, very quiet!

This place is fantastic like always! The servers likes my family and I. The pitcher of water they bring at our table is wonderful and that means everything to me. The food is always good and the servers people give them a break for the ones that give this place 1 stars or 2 stars. You all need to revise. The servers work extremely hard and the kitchen staff does too. I love this place and so does my family. We always come back when we get the chance.

I ordered dinner sesame chicken and a order of 6 crab rangoon. The total was $21.10. I thought that was too expensive for what I got. Then I got home to eat my food and the dinner portion of sesame was smaller than a lunch portion any where else I've ever been in my life. I will never go back to this place and never recommend it to anyone.

Best crab rangoon ever. Super accommodating. Love this place

The food is good. Pictures of the menu are correct in regards on what is offered, however prices have gone up. Lunch will be the best bet if you are on a budget.

Pretty good food, portions were alright, but atmosphere was so creepy. The restaurant was silent and I felt like I was being watched the whole time. Wouldn’t come back because of the atmosphere but the food was delicious

I ordered through phone and was told it would be ready in 25 min. I arrived within ten to fifteen minutes To receive my food to make sure that it wasn’t cold. I read the other reviews about their food being hard and Cold and the owner saying it was due to wait time. They brought it out fresh to me, I ordered the lo mein and fried rice. The lo mein was terrible! it had absolutely NO FLAVOR and the rice was ridiculously salty it had huge chunks of eggs instead of it being scrambled. The chicken had absolutely no flavor. The food was bland to say the least for the almost $20 that I paid for it. The customer service wasn’t all that great either when I picked up my food they didn’t say thank you or have a great day they didn’t say anything , they just handed me my food and walked away (and I even tipped!) The service was very bland just like the food. I would say if you are wanting Chinese food, to look for a different place! Because this place was not it.

The upside to Panda Cafe is the food. The downside is the service. They are a mom and pop Asian restaurant in a newish strip center in Lee's Summit and have a loyal local following. The quality of the food drives that. The decor is prototypical strip center Chinese and a bit dark and cliche. Right next door is a martial arts studio, and, on kids lesson evenings, you can hear the shouting through the walls. The young woman running the front was frosty. I think she tried a time or two to seem cordial, but it it only came off as strained. I felt I was an imposition. The 'mom' of the owner team came through, and she was genuine. The food saves it from an even lower rating. The Won Ton soup was the best I've ever had. The broth was rich and warm. The Won Tons themselves have a lovely velvety texture and a flavor that was deep, there were plenty of them. I tried the fried dumplings based on previous reviews from the fan base. I normally avoid fried, but I had to see if these lived up to their billing. They did. The filling is excellent, and they don't over fry them. Crispy exterior, moist flavorful interior, and all made on the spot. I just wish they had a better interior decorator and a better trained staff.

Awesome place for great tasting food. Super friendly staff. The Mongolian Beef was excellent with tender beef. A great blend of onions, peppers, beef and sauce.

I am very sad, I use to like this place a lot, however just tonight I ordered two dinners one of orange chicken and the other Mongolian beef and it was awful, the food tasted old and cardboard-like and was cold to the touch, I only live about 5 minutes away, food does not get cold that fast, and the portions of food were very small, maybe a scoop of rice and a scoop of beef and chicken. Needless to say, we did not finish the food. If I could get my money back I would.

Moved to the area less than a month ago and one of my favorite cuisines is Asian/Chinese food. I ordered from a place at my previous residence in Tennessee and was really disappointed, so I was hesitant to order without a local recommendation but I'm so glad I did!! The food was phenomenal. I ordered the steamed dumplings, egg drop soup, and crab rangoons. The dumplings were cooked perfectly and served with an amazing garlicky soy sauce, the rangoons were super crispy without being oily or tasting heavy and the egg drop soup had a wonderful broth that had the perfect consistency without being bland or oily. I think this may be my new favorite takeout restaurant!

I understand that COVID is affecting businesses but it should not affect quality of the food your customers are paying for. I actually have pretty low standards for take out Chinese and this recent experience fell short. We ordered fried rice and Mongolian beef and it tasted like it was leftover from the day before. There was nothing fresh about this meal. Fried rice should be soft and steamy and this was hard and tasteless. I could talk about the lo mein and crab Rangoon but I would just be repeating myself - it was bad. This reflects poorly on your business and I absolutely want to support local businesses but not when you have no pride in what you are serving up.
