I wish I had a Time Machine so I could go back in time and never have come here. I made a reservation for 6:30 and we got there about 10 min early. The waiting area was packed, so I’m thinking to myself “ good thing I made a reservation”. Then I stood there for 35 min, watching the entire waiting area of walk-ins get seated before me. I go up to the checkin podium, and the hostess says “oops, we forgot to mark you as here,” but don’t worry, we’ll get you seated and get you some free appetizers for the mistake. We get seated about 5 min later (now a full half hour after reserved time) But of course none of this was relayed to the server, so I’m back in the awkward position of having to either complain again or just suck it up. I decide to suck it up. I’m starving and just want something to eat.
I got a cup of gumbo to start which was actually quite good. I ordered blackened fish tacos for my entree, which was a huge mistake. Blackened to me means there will be a lot of seasoning in the blackening, but not here. Fish was completely bland and smelled like gym socks. I’d say it tasted like gym socks, but that’s just a guess. It was awful. The toppings were tasteless, the salsa was even tasteless. How that is possible is a mystery to me. I ate about 3 bites of it. My server didn’t ask why. My boyfriend got shrimp, which he said was ok but overcooked.
Basically, incompetent front of the house, blah/bad food, unfulfilled promises to “make it right”, high prices and long wait for a bad experience. Can’t get much worse. Only decent thing here was the gumbo.

Being from Louisiana (yet land locked in the Mid West), I always want to order the Oyster Po’ Boy when I find it on a menu. And, the masochist in me often does. I will be disappointed, or moderately not as expected. Not tonight. I’ve been a stone’s throw from the ocean and not had oysters of this caliber. I am shocked. Bravo. Perfection. The chili oil may be no joke for the timid though. Cheers!

A Place To Die For! A Must, if you love oysters- FRESH!!, And Seafood! I literally felt like I was eating at a 5* Restaurant in NYC or on Chef Gordon Ramsay's Show!! Funny but True!
Dress wear; go as you are, casual, or a Dress Up Style! A Great Date Restaurant! MAKE A RESERVATION! It's easier for them but you can walk in and eat at bar or come back at the time you're given. They Are Busy. They Serve Wines++, Beers++ of all kinds, and beautiful mixed drinks. EXCELLENTE!

First, Austin, our server was great. Friendly, attentive, and helpful. Both of our meals tasted great and were hot, fresh, and came quick. The atmosphere was good too. I'd recommend giving it a try if you're in the mood for seafood. Although the non-seafood menu is small, my wife (who doesn't eat seafood) had chicken pasta that was delicious.

Nice place. The scallops had a strange taste to them and we waited 45 minutes for dinner.

The food was drenched in excess spice and oil. Peel and eat shrimp are pretty basic to prepare but they managed to ruin the shrimp. The rice side dish was not edible and bitter.
The blackened shrimp tacos made my wife sick.
What else can I say - skip this place and do yourself a favor.

It was a nice atmosphere, everyone laughing, talking just enjoying themselves. My favorite was their specialty drinks..all I can say is DELICIOUS!!! The prices are reasonable and the staff is nice. I'll be going back, and you should stop by.

I've been meaning to try this place for a while. I wasn't impressed. Food was alright. I've had worse at other places. I think you should always try a place and decide for yourself. I, however, probably wouldn't go back if I was paying for the meal. It was a chill environment.

Fun atmosphere. I had the lobster sandwich and my husband had the fish and chips. Both were great and the prices were fair for the amount of food. Will be going back!

Our server was very sweet, I wish I remembered her name. I had the blackened fish tacos and they were fantastic! No wait for a table. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a good place to eat in Lee’s Summit.

I ordered the lobster Macaroni. The macaroni was very good, but my lobster was very hard and a lot of it was closer to chicken texture. I would have returned it if I hadn't ordered it on uber eats. Charging 30 dollars for old lobster. You guys should be ashamed.
