Great ice cream.
Tried three flavors (salted caramel, cinnamon bun, and cake batter) none were very good. Waffle cone was stale. Disappointing.
Fun flavors of ice cream, salted caramel with pretzels and chocolate chunks anyone? Prices are reasonable and the scoop is ample.
This is a great ice cream store on Douglas in downtown Lee’s Summit.
We met some friends for an ice cream social here. It was hot outside and a great time for ice cream.
Inside the store was cool and nice. The staff was super friendly and kind, handing out samples when asked.
I had the cherry ice cream with sugar cookies, which was a first for me and pretty indulgent. It was delicious. Really high quality ice cream. My wife liked it too. We would return for sure.

My wife and I stopped in for the first time. WOW!! Great little shop! My wife is picky about ice cream and LOVED her selection! We’ll be back!!

Great place. The ice cream is much better and creamier than other ice cream spots. The red velvet brownie bites is fantastic. The cake and icing also excellent. I'm finishing the cone in the car, and I might have to go get another one before I get on the road. I've never craved another ice cream after finishing one before. This is definitely the go-to ice cream spot now

I like that they have rotating menu. They’re inconsistent with their hours and schedule. They would close for months then re-open.

The ice cream was great! So glad I did a quick google search for ice cream and found them. I enjoy supporting local business like Poppy's.
