Overall it was a solid ice cream shop. It was inviting and the employees were friendly and kind. For me there were a few too many froufrou flavors. I am more of a plain flavor guy without the bubblegum, mango, cheesecake, or birthday cake flavors. I was also disappointed in their website because they did not display their menu when I clicked on it. It says "there are currently no menus to display." In today's digital age you definitely need a good website or app to showcase your store. Please keep your website up to date.

Got declined service twice in a matter of 2 minutes. 1.) I had my dog with me and they don’t allow dogs (which I explained he was a service animal) and 2.) they don’t accept tap to pay. So I left empty handed. In my opinion, being in service industry, they just turned away a potential repeat customer twice. Which is really no way to run a business in hospitality.

We happen to visit this place today right after our lunch and to be very surprised I found very less flavors of ice cream. We love the hazelnut the service was great. It was only one staff today, but she was pretty fast and very sweet to offer as the taste of multiple different flavors to decide which one we wanted to get a must visit place to go in Lee Summit for ice creams has a very cute ambience too.

First time visiting Poppy's today, and I am very very impressed! I love how they make everything in house and the Cake Batter was recommended by the cashier and it did not disappoint! I'll definitely be a repeat customer every time I go to downtown LS!! Keep up the amazing work!
