This will probably be my last time ordering here, as we’ve had issues the last couple visits. We just wanted to believe it was a bad day since it used to be so good. It’s gone downhill though. Prices are higher, portions are smaller…and the flavor is LACKING! No matter what flavors we’ve ordered lately, the bag is flavorless. I called today, and last time but the managers literally do not care. The manager Brittany said in a very nonchalant way “I’ll make sure you have more seasoning next time” but she didn’t know my name or anything 😂…how will you do that without my information? Just wanted to get me off the phone. A joke!
We started coming to this location when the Grandview,MO seafood spot closed…it was our favorite one. Way better than Red Crab. However, from now on I’ll just make the drive to Krab Kingz in Kansas City…black owned, and they care about customer satisfaction and serve great quality seafood with amazing flavor. It’s just far from me…it is worth the drive though!

For the most part the food was initially good. I always unshell all of the crab legs and shrimp so I can make it into some noodle dish later. They kept most of my leftover shrimp and crab meat. It's very disappointing and it's very nasty to think what they end up doing with those leftovers do not let them bag up your food because more than likely they will be taking some of it. I will just make sure I go back to hook & reel whenever I need my crab leg fix.

Just ate here for the first time and had a fantastic experience! The servers were not only helpful and on top of it all, they were extremely friendly. Our food was amazing and very reasonable prices. We will definitely be back!!!

Our server did amazing, i had a party of 15 to 17 people and she did amazing i'm hoping that we didn't give her a hard time, but the food was great. The food was out fast service was great.

No doubt about it, worst seafood ever. I could have made this myself at home much better, was a literal waste of money. I got Lemmon pepper it was literally butter and just lemon pepper seasoning. No flavor, super bland. I did not enjoy it at all i definitely will not get seafood from here other than their fries. Like it was so bad, no taste, idk how the business is still running if I’m being honest cause they won’t see me again. Don’t waste your time or money unless you like bland flavorless seafood 0/10 I wouldn’t recommend. The food that is shown on the menu is definitely not their food, it looks much more seasoned with more color. But when I got my food it look fat from the menu, so I doubt that, that is their work. Hell no.
The service was great. Seated really quick. We ordered the "Special B" combo with all mixed flavors and medium heat, 1/2 lb of mussels and 1/2 lb crawfish. The food came out hot and fast. The food tasted decent, there was way too much dry seasoning on top on the crabs and the seafood was just swimming in oil and butter. They crawfish were huge but it didn't seem like we got enough. We only got 12 crawfish for 1.5 lbs and the mussels were so small and half were missing from the shell. Overall a decent place to eat seafood and grab drinks but very over priced. $175 for 2 people and we were still hungry after.

This was my first time here. We ordered fish, calamari, fried shrimp and hush puppies. I ordered a pineapple orange martini which was good. The food was not good. I will try again another day and maybe try the seafood bagd
