Sahara Mediterranean Food

We ate at Sahara for the first time tonight. Everything was delicious. The portions were great. The baklava is to die for! We will definitely be back.

A solid option in Lees Summit. My chicken and rice was good. The others in my party liked their meals as well. Hummus and pita were average. I’d go back.

This place has a somewhat unique approach to Mediterranean food compared to most other joints. While the menu offerings were standard, but the actual food itself was sort of “jumbo” sized. The proportions were normal, but I’m referring to the physical size of the gyro meat and bread, which were thick and large. My wife enjoyed this aspect more than I did. While the food was not at all bad, it wasn’t really for me.

Oh my goodness! This is mouth watering, running back for seconds and thirds delicious! And the staff are so friendly and amazing. Highly recommend!!

Went for the first time yesterday and came back for lunch today! I arrived just before 8:30 last night and learned that they stop serving food right at 8:30. So just a heads up for those who don’t know! I got the shawarma sandwich last night and shawarma combo today because it was so good. The chicken was tender and juicy and perfectly seasoned imo. Hummus and tabouli was some of the best I’ve had! Everything was fresh. Looking forward to trying more on the menu in the future!

Love this place! The good is consistently delicious and fresh. Highly recommend the lentil soup, gyros, baba ganoush, chicken kebabs snd Greek salad. And everything else ?.

Not only was the food amazing but the workers are honest and so nice. I left my purse there when I visited for lunch and the employee found it and kept it in the back for when I returned to get it. Highly recommend!
