Wrongfully terminates employees and calls them unreliable when they are sick in the hospital even though they got their shift covered and have doctors notes to provide. Very unprofessional and no communication. Should have listened to customers and people who knew the owners when they told me the establishment was crooked.

The owners of this restaurant are beyond unprofessional, rude, and out of pocket. Tried to give them feedback regarding some dissatisfaction from our rehearsal dinner here and Lanni responded by telling us our group was a bunch of drunk, belligerent, rude people. Literally have no idea what she’s talking about. My husband was so shocked he didn’t know what to say since we only used 40 drink tickets between 35 people during our event… then Lanni accused him of being drunk right then while on the phone with him at 4pm on a Thursday while he was at work!!! The manager, Will, even said he had no idea what Lanni was talking about because our group was fine. So not only was our rehearsal dinner subpar, but the owners rubbed salt in the wound my accusing and gaslighting us for simply wanting to give them honest feedback. I have never been treated so disgustingly by a business owner and am beyond disappointed. We have been regulars at Smoke and wanted to support a local business, but will never return and will recommend everyone find a better business to support.

I was Grinch’n mad for the Christmas holiday until I entered what seemed to be a snow globe full of Whoville and Grinchmas!!!!! I was overwhelmed with the delight of everything Christmas!!! The staff were all wonderfully attentive and sweet and the Holiday drinks were an added treat (come on y’all give it to me!!! I’m definitely dropping bars!). Our team had a great time and I was skeptical about the food because you just don’t get atmosphere, a superb staff experience, and great food!!! But Smoke Brewing Company, you all WOW’D me/us!!!! It was the brisket queso with that triangle garlic herb bread, took me out!!!! The shrimp tacos came out with a blah presentation, then the flavors rose to smack me in the mouth!!!! I forgot all about the presentation!!! LOL!!!! That salmon baaaaaaaaaaaaby!!!! What indentured elves y’all got back there on the grill???? They need a raise/vacation!!!! Thank you for the fabulous experience in the heart of Lees Summit, Mo. y’all did that and have been deemed, The Christmas Experience Boss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Smoke Brewing Company. Our visit started off fine, but things quickly went downhill. It took over an hour for our food to arrive, and when it finally did, it wasn’t even worth the wait. The delay was frustrating enough, but what happened next was unbelievable.
Out of nowhere, the owner approached our table and began speaking to us in a completely disrespectful and condescending manner. It felt like we were being ambushed for no reason, and his attitude was shocking. Instead of addressing our concerns or offering any sort of apology for the delays, he made the entire situation worse by being rude to everyone at our table.
I don’t know how this place stays in business with that kind of treatment towards customers. I definitely won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else.

Im not sure what happened last night. I was at Smoke Brewing Company grabbing a few drinks and I witnessed a very disturbing incident between management of this place and a young family. Regardless of what occurred, I would never expect for paying customers to be treated/spoken to the way they did and also be put out, especially with young children. It seems as racial reviews are consistent with this establishment and I hate to say maybe they’re right! I will not be coming back!! Poor treatment and disgusting to see

Witnessed a family last night being treated very unfair I hate to go as far as to say they endured racism but that’s exactly what it appeared to be. Ive been to this location multiple times with my wife and this was my absolute last time going.. the family had 2 beautiful boys with them and a male and female approached them being very hostile and disrespectful they didn’t care about the kids the way they used profanity and talk to these customers. The female even had to get in between the I’m assuming owner ( very aggressive and disrespectful) and the customer. It is very disheartening that this community allow business owners to treat paying customers this way.. SHAME on you smoke brewing company do better

Three moms and three kids tonight to see the Grinch pop up and eat some bbq…. The food was Amazing!!!!! I wish I would’ve gotten our servers name but he was fantastic!!! We all said we would be coming back.. very soon:). Wished we lived closer we would be regulars 😉

Honestly, there is so much I can rant about but I’ll try and keep it as simple as I can. After sitting for an hour and a half and only receiving a partial of what we ordered I offered to just pay for the drinks/food that my fiancé and I (including our 2 youngest children) had during that time. At 1st the waitress and I assume, one of the restaurant supervisors said OK and agreed to get the receipt. Instead of getting that we were approached by an older woman and odious man who I assume were upper management that came up and asked what the issue was..
I explained we were waiting for an hour and a half and we all were getting restless and would rather just pay for what we received and this is where it starts!
The man insisted it was not that long and started to treat me as if I committed a crime because I didn’t want “my” plate anymore that was never brought out until I told them I wanted to cancel it. He put on a show for the whole restaurant to see because he wanted to act like he was doing something credible. He also wanted to speak on my parenting skills as I was holding my 2 yr old through this whole situation. We exchanged some words, he threatened to call the police on me.
The wife or older lady tried to confirm to me she didn’t want us to feel like we weren’t welcomed. I couldn’t get either of their names and after she finally backed him up from in front of us my family and I got up and left without any hesitation or further issues. We are a black family and I pray this isn’t that but now that I’m going through the reviews I’m not the first and it’s more than a couple stating similar treatment.
This place is disgusting and I dont recommend to anybody. I hope whoever has invested in this or runs this establishment realizes the individuals they have in charge are going to have this place plummet! Only a matter of time.

I went with my mom to celebrate my birthday and the service, food and ambience was 100! Smoke Brewery don’t owe me nothing! We got a beef platter with ribs and we ate full. 3rd the service! Our server Lorraine was so attentive and courteous & The owner gifted me some Birthday shots and took pics of my mom and myself! Never been before but We will be coming again!
