Cheese burger was so cold it didn’t even melt the cheese slightly. Ordered a chili cheese dog with mustard ketchup and relish and didn’t get any of it and the hot dog was cold. Cherry limeade tasted like soda water with 1 shot of cherry in a 44 oz. I should have read the other reviews. Sonic is not doing anything to correct the poor store quality in any of their Lee’s Summit locations. It’s been 10 years since I visited Sonic until recently. I won’t go back.
This is the worst Sonic. We've had so many bad experiences. From having to wait 35+ minutes for drinks to getting the order wrong nearly every time to being out of something, not telling us, and then not refunding us when we asked about it. All around terrible.
Food was not good at all I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich that wasn’t even toasted looked like it came out the microwave
Drive thru. Everyone finally turn their cars off waiting in line so long. Just have the car move up and wait, don’t make everyone else wait.

Sat at the drive through waiting to order for 15 minutes, had no one bother to answer the intercom to even let me know they would take my order. Terrible service
I placed a pickup order at 10 PM last night, and it went through with no issue. I arrived about 10 minutes later to find the entire Sonic completely shut down—no lights on, no staff, no explanation. If your posted hours say you’re open until 11 PM, then you should be open until 11 PM.
I even called a different Sonic location to ask what was going on, and they told me, “Some Sonics make up their own hours. Try calling back in the morning for a refund.” I did exactly that—and no one answered.
This is unacceptable. If you have set business hours, you should honor them. Customers shouldn’t be charged for orders they can’t pick up because your store decided to close early without warning.

If I could give a review without any stars that'd be enough. This place is absolutely trash. I came from out of town to see my son play baseball and stopped here for food. Not only did I pull into a bay to order but after 10 min of sitting and not a hello or anything I decided to go to drive thru. They took the order right away. Paid $11 and some change for a meal. That when I drove off started to eat my burger that not only was cold but didn't have any of what I asked for which was simple. Tomato, Ketchup and mayo. Nope nothing. Then the tots tasted as if they sat for hours. To top it off my ocean water was nothing but blue carbonated water.. like come on, people work hard for the money the least you could do is provide good service and hot food! Shame on the owner who keeps this place open.

Nothing against the young man that had the only experience in the building. No other supervisor was there he did not know how to work the drive thru.
I called out a few times no answer pull to the window to order he tells me if I'm ordering a meal I need to pull back around because that's the only way to work the orders (that he knows of).

Have been a here a few times and each time service was pretty slow. Last night I went for the 1st time in a while. I waited almost 30 minutes for my online order of 4 simple items. It looked like there was only 1 worker slowly bringing orders out, so I decided to give grace. But once I saw another girl bring an order out to a car who had only been there a few minutes, I stopped her to ask about mine. She went in and came right back out with my barely warm food and just said I'm so sorry. I checked it before she walked away and as I said I'll just take it at this point I don't have time to wait longer, I turned to put my food in the passenger seat and drink in cup holder. I said everything very politely. As I was turning back around she had dropped the straw in my lap and turned around to walk back in. Didn't offer to remake my food or refund it. And dropped the straw in my lap. The other girl was also right inside the window sticking her finger in her ear talking to someone at that point and she had earlier walked out to a car cleaning her glasses off with her shirt, stomach hanging out. Wouldn't exactly expect professional from Sonic but this was beyond unprofessional. Ended up calling the franchise number on a review below to leave a comment and hopefully will at least get my money back for wasted time and bad food/service. Won't be back.
I was ordering food today due to our family dog crossing the rainbow bridge and Ashlie was kind enough when I was explaining and even put a little special treat in the pup cup, it is nice to see that people still have good hearts in this crazy world and how horrible people get treated in fast food industry always due to short staffing. So thank you Ashlie for showing kindness on a dark day.
One of the worst locations I’ve ever been to. Never a satisfying visit.
I don’t understand why they just stop answering the drive thru when they are busy. They just stop. No warning when it’s going to happen. Customer service is dead
