This place is super cute. I got a Chai tea and a snickersdoodle cookie. Both were delicious! My only feedback is the size of the space. Its really small on the inside and seating is super limited. I'd go back for the coffee but maybe not to hang out.

They are not only courteous but genuinely helpful, taking the time to patiently explain the menu to new customers and introduce the special Moon Milk. It’s clear they care about making every visit enjoyable and comfortable. The shop itself is spotless, both inside and out, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere to relax, work, or catch up with friends. The attention to cleanliness and organization really adds to the overall experience. The drinks are excellent and consistently well-prepared, with flavors that are rich, smooth, and satisfying. I especially appreciate the value—you get high-quality coffee without feeling like you’re overpaying. It’s also a great place to try something unique, like their Moon Milk, which has quickly become a favorite. This place has the absolute best coffee I've ever had. It has the aroma of the old school Foldgers commercial that you can invision in your head. The flavor is smooth and the moon milk is to die for. The combo is just so good together. Introduced it to my coworkers and now they are hooked as well. The food is nothing special but hey thats not really what you're coming for anyway. Prices are a little high and the menu need some serious upgrades. The fact they have no descriptions of each drink is a bit rediculous considering the names are extremely unique. Everyone is send including myself is very frustrated by this part. And what makes it worse is that the staff doesnt always do the best job describing things either or the mic doesn't work. They really need to put info under each drink to make it more user friendly. Other than that the drinks make it worth it but If I don feel like asking 50 questions to figure out what drink I want as im not I just pass. These are minor things as the coffee is soo good.

I used to like this place when it opened, but the staff have become soooo slow and negligent. The drive-thru takes 20 minutes to get through if there’s even just one other car. Half the time, we get to the window and they have to ask us again what we ordered. They’ve messed up our order multiple times (even after repeating the order to them twice). The food and drinks are really overpriced for what you get, especially when they never fill the drinks to the top. And the last time I went, I ordered an oat milk latte due to a dairy allergy, and after leaving realized they put whipped cream on it under the lid. Attached is a picture of a latte I never drank from and paid $8 for.
One of my favorite coffee shops. I discovered Summer Moon in Austin and I was super sad when I moved back to KC. When they brought Summer Moon to OPKS I was ecstatic. Their coffee beans have a unique flavor that I love ❤️

I always get the half moon. Hot or cold it hits the spot. Not too sweet. Love this place. I appreciate the work it took to give all the quirky names to the drinks, however, it takes a while to get the hang of them and takes the barista's time to explain.
