Great happy hour! Bartenders were awesome, and I now have a new favorite dessert after the butter cake recommendation!

I'm fine, but my sister and neice had a terrible experience yesterday, Sunday, April 21. Took them out for a nice dinner with the kids, and after they got home, both of them had gut issues that left them emptying their colons for much of the night. They both had green beans with their meals, so that must have been the culprit because the rest of us didn't have any problems. My sister had the salmon with rice, and my neice had the pot roast with mashed potatoes. They're still complaining this morning after being torn up last night. Thank goodness the kids didn't eat any green beans. I hope Summit Grill in Lee's Summit sees this because I'm going to call them about it. I feel like I wasted a lot of my money. Get rid of those green beans!

Food has always been good but ordered the Asian chicken salad one with chicken and two others with shrimp, to go. Very disappointed that the one with chicken had like 5-6 small to medium size pieces of chicken. Expected more because the ones with shrimp had TONS of shrimp, you would think it would be the opposite.

I really hate to leave a bad review for this restaurant because I truly enjoy the food, however, after three bad experiences in a row, I will not be back. Two of the three visits were when I called in a carry out order, I arrived when they stated my order would be ready for pick up and they hadn’t even put the order in for preparation. I was told, I’m sorry we can put it in now and it’ll be ready in about 25 minutes. Both times I was unable to wait around for 25 minutes to receive my order I called in plenty of time. This was very frustrating as they were unable to do anything to expedite my order when they even admitted it was there error both times. My other poor experience was dining in. Reservation was made and seated on time. Unfortunately our waitress was very slow and we waited 55 minutes for our food and then our waitress was MIA for 45 minutes after we finished our food. We waited forever to receive our check so we could leave and give them their table to be able to seat another party. We were seated for over two hours and just wanted to leave by the end of it.

Had the biscuits and gravy with sausage and "cheesy" eggs. Biscuits and gravy were excellent. Sausage was more like a braut than breakfast sausage. Had an incredibly tough casing and was nearly impossible to cut with a regular table knife. Needed a steak knife. They must have run out of cheese as there was none in the eggs.

Had a wonderful evening with Hubby on a Monday night starting with happy hour in the bar. Delaney was a gracious server and helped us when we had questions. Open seating with lots of booths options. I had a cucumber gin gimlet that is now my all time favorite. We tried Ahi Tuna wonton based nachos, thick cut calamari and steak street tacos. Everything was played beautifully and was delicious.
