My very favorite restaurant! It is so difficult to find gluten sensitive meals. They have many choices! Everything is delicious and the people are so nice!
You can be certain to have a wonderful environment, friendly service and delicious food! Thank you for having gluten free options!
The staff was absolutely welcoming. The food was off the chain amazing. Thank you!
Really good food and a nice place with nice people.
My boyfriend took me here this morning, I have never heard of The fig tree before. Definitely a hidden gem in Lee's summit, best breakfast place around! Service is outstanding, food was amazing! The potato's are to die for, I loved it and we will be coming back many times!
I have eaten here many times and always enjoy the experience. Food is well-prepared and always interesting. This isn't your usual fare. I tried the oatmeal and it was the best I've ever eaten. It had Mediterranean spices in it and was a real experience. It was a little pricey at about $7 a bowl but it was all so very special and I'll do it again. Thank youFig Tree for waking up my taste buds!
We had been looking forward to trying this restaurant.
The food is good. I got a breakfast platter and it wasn't spectacular but then again it's eggs. The staff was very friendly and attentive but the prices are bit much.
Everything!!!!!!! It's all wonderful

Amazing Food and great people. I eat here as much as can. The owner is an amazing man and I have yet to meet a staff member that isn't pleasent to be around. Seriously the best value for your money.
My visit to the Fig Tree Cafe was a good one. I cannot say a lot about the food itself because I only ordered a pancake. It was huge, so I only needed one. They do offer a pretty good variety of foods and a nice variety of baked goods, which I somehow found the strength to resist. The help was very friendly and very helpful, which to me counts for a lot! Yes, I probably will return.
Oh my! What a treat to find this local treasure while I'm out of town at a conference. Locally sourced beef, eggs, produce with creative twists. No alcohol but a full latte/coffee menu. Started with a nutella cappuccino which may as well have been dessert, so rich and creamy. The special fig burger had a taste all of it's own with side of special potatoes. I understand the home made desserts are incredible and decadent but will have to wait until my next visit as I was pleasantly full. Owner and server were caring and spot on despite being crazy busy for lunch. Breakfast menu looked divine as well.
The 4 cheese omelet(basically one big flat piece of egg with unmelted sliced and shredded cheese just thrown on top) was terrible and had a smell resembling dirty feet. The bacon, sausage, and even potatoes were over-cooked. And the gentleman who rang up our bill wasn't the most pleasant. Would give 0 stars overall.
I love this place.. very good atmosphere, great food, and great treats.. everything here is worth trying and this is my favorite Saturday afternoon hang out!!
