Stopped at the filling station for lunch yesterday for the first time.
Great service,fantastic food and fairly steady flow of customers for a small place. If you like BBQ with a classic back home taste and feel, this is the place to go.

The new ownership has turned this place around! The service is top notch and the atmosphere gives the restaurant a family feel! Our favorite is the fried mushrooms and pickles. I would highly recommend people here for the best local bbq around!!

Our first experience was amazing! My hubby and I both had the special which was the brisket sandwich . One with fried okra and one with beans. Finished with a delicious peach cobbler. 100/10 👍
This is one of my favorite places to eat in Lees Summit. Not only is the food phenomenal but the customer service is great. As for the BBQ, I love their ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. They recently added smoked wings, I don’t think they’re on the menu yet but you can ask for them. They’re my new favorite thing to eat when we swing by. Make sure to try their desserts too!

This place is an absolute gem! Not only is the food a 100/10, but the service is so warm and friendly. They treat new faces as if they've known you forever and that is something worth coming back for in my opinion. The atmosphere is so retro and eclectic and vintage and inviting, it almost feels home-y in a way. This is the perfect stop for a quick lunch, a cute date night, or a family dinner night with the kids. My new go-to BBQ spot!

The Filling Station BBQ is a hidden gem! The food was absolutely delicious, and the prices for their family meals were incredibly affordable. We were blown away by the quality and the portions—definitely more than enough to feed everyone and still have leftovers! The BBQ was perfectly cooked, with that rich, smoky flavor you hope for, and all the sides were just as amazing. The staff was friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. It's rare to find a place where you get both top-notch food and great value, but The Filling Station BBQ nailed it. We can't wait to come back—this might just be our new go-to spot for family meals!

I have walked my dog past this establishment several times. I decided to give them a try tonight. I was greeted with two lovely young ladies. My puppy just thought they were the bee's knees! Onto the food! I ordered two specials which were pulled pork on buns with a side. Pork was flavorful and baked beans are delicious. I will be making this a place I frequent.
