The Fillmore cafe is somewhat of a hidden gem in Lee's Summit. I love the warm and inviting ambience and classy design of the space.
The cafe supports local artists by features rotating displays from local artisans, and an affirmative crowd is always gathered on the first Thursdays for an acoustic open mic.
It's a great place to grab a drink, snack, pastry or sandwich before or after a walk on the nearby trails, and you can feel good about supporting a quality local business while you're at it!💓

This is a great place that I can't wait to go to again. The sofa is very comfortable to sit on. The oil paintings on the wall are full of explorations of contemporary living spaces. Hot demi-sugar mocha and mango smoothie, delicious and affordable.

I have to make a separate post just to shout out to Jeremy and Jody, the owners of The Fillmore Café.
These two are quite possibly two of the best humans, no joke. From answering all of my questions to walking through the venue and helping plan how to set up to allowing us to use their conference room to do as much as we could last night.
And today they were both quick to ask how they could help with setting up AND tearing down! Jody saw the stress on my face and had 2 espresso martinis made for me.
THIS IS THE PLACE TO HOST YOUR EVENT!!!
The space was open, inviting, clean and we very much appreciated the varying seating options. Every seat there was absolutely comfortable.
Oh, and the lighting is adjustable so it was dimmed perfectly!!

Was here for an art show. At the time there was also a guitarist playing. It made for a relaxing atmosphere.Had a latte with almond milk. Delicious!! The young man behind the counter was very attentive and my latte was excellent.

It's the perfect place to grab coffee and a snack with friends or business contacts. Not to mention, they feature local artists on their walls, and host live musicians on Thursday evenings. I've even rented their conference room for larger meetings, and it's always clean and affordable. It's a great place to hang out!

The Fillmore Café is a wonderful local coffee shop, and their breakfast options are delicious. This space has been tastefully remodeled and is a great location to meet for business or with family and friends. They also have cocktails later in the day, and the location is a convenient middle ground between Eastern Jackson County and the state line/ Overland Park areas. I highly recommend The Fillmore Café.
