Burger way overcooked frys were ok and rings were ok not great but ok the burger they need to not overcook them because they were dry and need seasoning need to get someone who knows how to work the grill and how they were assembled was sloppy for $17 it a no for me. Also owner does not respond so i wont be back and i will tell freinds honestly they need a new person on the grill they dont know how to cook what so ever.

Off rip... hands down the best fries I ever had in the Metro area. The fries are extra crispy and spices are on point. Now, for me the Bake Beans on the menu were some very tastful, interesting flavors a little bit of high's and low's. That means High with southern Eastern hospitality and southern mid western flare. You can taste the south in those bake beans.
Let me tell you about the Bodacious Burger, once those fries touch the liquid bake beans wet wet... It hit home with me, I add it with the burger not to make it better. This entire combo works like fireworks shooting off in the 4th of July skies.
I recommend keep doing what you doing I say, stick with the roots what makes you Unk's Burger and never leave out them Fries and Bake Beans.

First time here and we were greeted by a very friendly couple. I had checked out the menu online so I knew what I wanted. The Breakfast Burger (egg, bacon, hashbrown) with onion rings. My son got The Unk Burger, double patty, with seasoned fries. The burger patties are seasoned perfectly. I've already decided what I am going to order next time. They have wings, turkey burgers, chicken salad sandwiches, hot dogs, etc. Gluten-free buns are available too.

My top 3 burgers in KC are Cosmo, Tay’s, and Unks. Unks in particular has its own unique style and the service is always awesome. Come here, come hungry and come often. Time and time again this place never disappoints. Unks is top tier!!

Amazing food ! And burgers. We were searching for something that wasn’t a fast food chain, we were out of town and found unk’s burgers. Read all the reviews giving nothing but praise. The service was excellent and very attentive. The beans are a must try. They had so much flavor and are even better on a burger. The fries were the best fries I have ever gotten at a restaurant! Highly recommended stopping here. We will be back in September on our next trip !
