We love Summit Pizza and the staff! They continue to go above and beyond with their service every time we go.

They also have special offers for educators, law enforcement, and medical staff.

Their salad bar is the best in town.

We visited Summit Pizza tonight for my brother’s birthday, and I’m genuinely bummed to be writing this because it has been a favorite spot for our family gatherings for a long time. The food quality is still there, but the overall experience was poor at best and pretty disappointing for a celebration dinner.
From the moment we sat down, it was obvious the floor was understaffed. Our group was about 20 people, and we had one server handling our entire table. Addelynn was our server, and she was kind, polite, and clearly doing everything she could, but she was stretched thin to the point where service just could not keep up. It took close to over 30 minutes before we were even able to place our food order, and then we waited another 45 plus minutes for our food to arrive. When you are trying to enjoy a birthday dinner with family, that much waiting time changes the whole mood of the night, especially when you can tell it is not because the server is careless, but because the system is overloaded.
We ordered the keto sticks as an appetizer to hold us over, and they were a sorry excuse for an appetizer for the price. On top of that, the appetizer took at least 30 minutes to come out. When it finally hit the table, it did not feel worth the wait or the cost. To Addelynn’s credit, she listened and handled it the right way. She was sincere about it and switched them out for regular mozzarella sticks, which were a much better option and at least gave our table something to share while we waited.
For pizzas, we ordered a medium Philly thin crust pizza and a medium Carnivore hand tossed pizza. The pizza itself was good, and you can tell the ingredients are high quality. It’s obvious they’re putting real effort into what goes on the pie, and I understand they source a lot of ingredients locally and aim for higher end quality. That said, both pizzas came out not very hot when they hit the table. Pizza really lives and dies by that fresh out of the oven heat, and it just was not there tonight.
The most frustrating part of the night was watching a party of about 50 next to us get their pizzas before we did. I understand large groups may order earlier or get prioritized, but from our side it felt like we were stuck in a long backlog while a bigger table moved faster. It honestly seems like on the weekend they do not have enough pizza ovens, or enough kitchen capacity, to handle a full house during dinner service.
Finally, the price added to the disappointment. The bill for two medium pizzas, the appetizer, and one soda was about $80. I get that high quality ingredients and local sourcing cost more, and I’m willing to pay a bit extra for great food and a smooth experience. But when the appetizer is underwhelming, the wait times are excessive, and the pizza arrives lukewarm, that total feels overpriced for what we received.
I want to be clear: Addelynn was not the problem. She was nice and accommodating, but she was trying to cover too much at once. This has been a go to family spot, but given this recent experience, we will probably consider a different establishment next time, like Martin City Pizza or Pappos. I hope Summit Pizza can address staffing and dinner rush execution, because the food has real potential, but tonight the service and pacing fell well short.

Great, solid pizza for delivery. While ordering the receptionist gave good suggestions. The pie was still hot when it arrived, and ahead of schedule. The delivery person was prompt and called when they arrived. I liked the thinner slices (pie cut) for portions. Reheats well.

The gluten-free crust that wasn't. Another careless employee who doesn't give a whit. Thanks a lot.

We stopped in to eat 15 minutes before the buffet was supposed to end. They let us do the buffet still and it was fully stocked! Even had fresh pizzas coming out. The quality was so great. I honestly think this is my new favorite pizza place. Plenty of sauce and toppings. Our waitress seemed like she was having a rough day, but overall our experience was excellent. Thank you!

Their lunch buffet is a magical combination of super reasonable price and excellent quality food and service. They were eager to fulfill any special requests for the buffet we might have had, even though we came shortly before the buffet was scheduled to end and were expecting to make do with whatever was left. The staff clearly takes pride in their product and presentation. Highly recommended!

To me this is by far the best pizza in the area. I love the lunch buffet. Plenty of vegetarian options. The salad bar is included and it has everything you would expect from a top notch pizzeria salad bar.
