Super slow when checking out, never enough cashiers. Most of the cashiers are friendly, the older folks are usually the ones that are a bit grumpy. Prices aren't the same here as they are in Lee's Summit and Independence, the prices at Raytown Walmart are a bit higher, and they don't stock some items there that you find at the other stores. I've gotten bad meat from here and some frozen items that I think they didn't get put away fast enough and were left out to thaw and start to rot. If you don't use the meat you buy that day, buy the next day it's spoiled. I bought meat that said it had a week before it was due and got home, opened it up and it stunk to high heaven. Meat is too expensive to have to throw it out right after you buy it.

We always love to pop in this Walmart and look at stuff that our regular Walmart doesn't have. We always find new things to get and new things to try!

I would give this Walmart no stars if I could. I was in to get a few things. When I went to check out, one item was ringing up $18 more than what I saw on the shelf. I said something to the employee, who had to get a manager. The manager was rude. He asked if I had a picture. I said no. So he went to look at the shelf. I knew he would come back and deny me the price. So I went over to where he was, finding him only adjusting things on the shelf. I showed him where the item was. He said the price I saw was for a different item and should be slid over. He then took the price off the shelf and put in his pocket. His name is Justin. He belittled me, questioning why I thought the price was what I thought it was. He then said he could sell it to me for the higher price. I thought how kind. This is a horribly run Walmart with employees that do not know what customer service is.

Went into this Walmart today to purchase a tv and some grocery items I paid for all my items at electronics and total was $443 and some change A lady name Teresa white female took all my
$20 bills and held them up checking each one and wouldn’t just give my money back after I asked her twice and kept checking my money. I felt I was racially profile by this woman

Don't use their ATMs! I tried to deposit $570 cash. It didn't deposit it into my account, didn't give me a receipt to say how much I put in, and it didn't give me my money back. I had to file a dispute with the bank, which they said could take 5 days to resolve. This was my rent money and it was already late. My apartments charge insane late fees. This could make me lose my home and the home of my 10yr old daughter and 62 yr old mother with dementia.

Suspicious and Uncomfortable Experience at Walmart
★☆☆☆☆

I recently had a very uncomfortable experience at Walmart when trying to pay a bill. The employee, Sketchy, asked me for my Social Security number, which is completely inappropriate for a routine bill payment. I’ve never been asked for that kind of personal information in this situation before, and it immediately felt wrong. As my driver license already has my social security number. She might be trying to take advantage of young people’s social security number for her benefit so watch out.

What made it even more concerning was that I seemed to be the only person she asked for this information. It really made me wonder if this was because of my skin tone, which added an extra layer of discomfort to an already suspicious situation. When I asked why she needed my Social Security number, her answer was vague and didn’t provide any clear explanation.

Walmart needs to address this and make sure their employees are treating customers fairly and respectfully, regardless of their background. No one should have to feel singled out or questioned inappropriately when doing something as simple as paying a bill.

Worst Walmart I've ever been to. Staff are rude as heck and he place is always trashed.
