We love Xaboo Mephaa!!!! It’s so hard to find traditional Mexican food in the Midwest but this place has it. It reminds us of our favorite Mexican restaurants from Southern California that we miss. I have not had one thing that I haven’t loved. My favorites are the Al pastor street tacos and the tamales! Yummy! If you want to experience Mexican food like it’s served from a Mexican home this is the place.

I went here with some friends and I was pretty impressed with the over all quality of food, service and atmosphere. The owners were very interactive with us telling us about their restaurant and how they started their business. They also gave us some pretty decent recommendations when it came to their menu items. I am not going to lie it was a little bit more on the expensive side but believe me when I say this was some of the best authentic Mexican cuisine in Lee summit hands down so it was absolutely worth every penny. I would have given them 5 stars but the food truck isn’t always open at convenient times and the horchata was a little weak when it came to flavor but everything else about this little truck is outstanding. Please come support them!

This restaurant is the only authentically Mexican restaurant I have found in the entire Kansas and Missouri area. It is amazing to discover typical and traditional dishes of Mexican cuisine, prepared with so much love, dedication and effort. Most of the ingredients are made by hand, from the tortillas to the fresh waters. The prices are very affordable and the food is exceptional. It has become my favorite place, where I can't stop going every week. For those of us who miss Mexico and know that there is no other place like Mexico, nor any other cuisine like Mexican, this place is a gem. Everything, from customer service to food, is just as we know it in our country: unmatched.
