We went to Rio Rata for food after a LOOONG day on the black river. The staff was amazing and super nice, the food was fantastic, and the value of what you get for what you pay is astounding. Next time I'm in lesterville, I'm making sure I stop at this great place! (Try the cheese curds, they're in a class by themselves!)
We went here after running from a nearby cabin rental (Hidden Meadows). We weren't looking to stay at a motel, but this place is very clean and the cabins we had rented were infested.The rooms at Rio Rata seem to be newly remodeled. They were very clean and I can't speak any higher of the woman running the place. We were looking for a place last minute as we couldn't stay at the last place. The restaurant was only open 3 days and we didn't get to try it but...
The food was surprising good. From the cook to the taste, my wife had the burrito that was glazed with cheese ans I had a hamburger very well cook. The crunchiness of the bacon ans the fries were perfect. Very good for travelera and families after activities in the parks around. Plenty tables and a bar with enough TVs to expende the time watching sports and drinking your beer.
