Food was decent & service was prompt and pleasant. My only complaint is that I ordered a hamburger, clarified that I did not want cheese, but still ended up with a cheeseburger. Not a big deal, ate it anyway, and hopefully next time they get it right.

This took me back to my childhood. The food is good but the memories are great. I had a Cheeserite and onion rings. The rings were good and crisp while the burger seemed cold but that is probably from all the pickles? The price I thought was great! Less than $10 for my meal.

We ordered 4 maidrite hamburgers only got 1 of them and ordered 2 french fries they didn't have salt on them and they charged us 17:00dollars. We didn't notice it until we left and started home ?
Delicious, cheap, and fun place to visit! We were able to feed a family of 4 with less than $25 and the staff were so friendly and attentive! Very cool/old school atmosphere as well. The food was delicious and after ordering came out quick. Highly recommend the maid rite sandwich with onion rings they were amazing!

I ALWAYS try to get a Maid-Rite and a Cheese-Rite, fries or onion rings whenever I'm in Lexington during business hours. Never disappoints! Hot, fresh and delicious. Make sure you have cash because they don't take debit or credit. There is an ATM located inside. They are a low occupancy establishment but it's an old-fashioned drive-in with friendly car-hops.
Im from iowa and we have a ton of maid rites i took my kids that don't remember going when we lived in iowa they loved it the servers were really friendly even though the were super busy we still got our food hot and our ice cream cold ill differently drive from Independence to go back

Served up fast and tasty, my Cheese-Rite, just right and my onion rings, AMAZING! Old style retro charm with booths for dine in and several spots for drive in orders to your car JUST LIKE ITS BEEN SINCE, this Maid-Rite has been in business since 1946!! A must stop if you are in historic Lexington MO.

Rode from Independence on a scenic route tonight with a buddy of mine. Dug up this place and thought we'd pop in for a quick meal. Nice small town environment, quick service, and made with fresh ingredients. They're cash only, friendly, made for a great destination for a quick weekend motorcycle ride. Highly recommend!
