One of our favorite Mexican Restaurants. I have never had anything that wasn't great. In particular, the tamales verde is excellent. We don't live in Liberty anymore but we still drive here when we want Mexican.

If you want great food and great experience, this is a restaurant to go to. Not only do they give you complementary cheese dip along with the salsa. Everything is excellent. You won’t be disappointed we go there now about every other week because we live about 40 minutes away from there, but we’ve never had a disappointing time anytime that we’ve gone in there. Pleasant staff, outgoing and food is excellent.

What a fun vibrant atmosphere! My husband and I came here tonight for date night and everything was perfect. First, I love that you get complimentary queso with your chips as well as salsa! I had the special Cucumber Watermelon Margarita - oh wow! To die for! Our food was delicious, fresh, delivered quickly and hot. Our server was so nice - all the staff was so friendly. (They were even kind enough to put up with me practicando español, lol) We will definitely be back, next time with the whole family! While we were there, we witnessed 2 other tables have birthdays and THAT looked fun! I'm gonna have to do that!

Our family’s favorite Mexican Restaurant in Missouri! We visit almost weekly and we are always greeted with warm smiles and conversation from their friendly staff and manager. Food service is excellent and every dish we’ve ever ordered has been served quickly and delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant!

We eat at El Potro at least twice a week and have been coming here for about a year. We have never had a bad experience. The food is always delicious, but it is truly the staff and how amazing they at that consistently brings us back.
