Hands down, the most delicious bacon I have ever had. I love bacon and this was so different, they add rosemary and some other stuff to it, I ordered it crispy and when it came out I thought it was burnt, but no, it was the seasoning.
Bravo Ginger Sue. (The French toast was good also)

Absolutely loved the Peppermint Mocha, I would come back for just that alone! The Salmon Benedict was fair but I’m looking forward to trying some of their other menu options.

Very cute restaurant in Liberty Square. Cajon Crepe was delish and well portioned. My husband loved the blueberry pancakes. Service was good and waitresses were friendly!

A little more pricy compared to the last time I went (the Olathe location). Everything was good though, no complaints.

Today we tried a new place, it was Ginger Sue's. I was looking for something new and decided to Google places near Gladstone. A lot of places that were listed that I've tried and liked before but they didn't sound right. A reddit post had a quick little comment that Ginger Sue's needed to be placed on the list of places to eat north of the river. I thought, what the heck lets check it out. I decided on the breakfast burrito and the gravey scramble. The breakfast burrito was a crepe and not a flour tortilla. That piqued my interest, the crepe was amazing, the chorizo had a bite, the avocado was firm, the sour cream and salsa topped the whole thing off perfectly. Just the right amount of ingredients to get a flavourful explosion with every bite, and the breakfast potatoes were perfectly fried. The homemade sausage gravy on the scrambler was absolutely one of my favorites. The aroma from the herbs used was like a gift, present with every bite. The mushrooms were perfectly sautéed to be firm yet soft, the sausage, ham and onions were absolutely delicious. While under the whole thing those fried potatoes maintained their own separate flavor and texture, slightly crispy and full of wholesome goodness. If you're looking for a place thats not too far and feels like home its Ginger Sue's. I only wish I would've taken a photo of the breakfast burrito before I devoured the thing. I will definitely be adding Ginger Sue's to my list of favorite places.

Wow. A blue cheese scramble for breakfast. If you are a blue cheese fan, your going to love this. A great blend of eggs, potatoes, and blue cheese with a topping of hollandaise sauce. The balance of blue cheese was perfect. Tasty, while not overwhelming the rest of the flavors. The other person at my table had the signature pumpkin pancakes topped with cinnamon butter. Her breakfast also included a side of very nicely seasoned bacon. I tried the pancakes and they were delicious. They even asked if she wanted it her bacon crispy or not crispy. Made to order!

Cool little place. They get 4 stars for taste and overall quality of the food. The 5th star is for the 3 sausage links they serve that are regular size. Not the anorexic links you get so many other places
