I ordered through Uber eats about 45mind before they closed. There wasn't someone assigned by the time they closed. Informed me to cancel my order so that I would get my money back. But the special part was they still took my order and the family that owns this restaurant then hand delivered me what I had ordered. These people that own this business are a pillar of this community. Mind you the roads were not great we had a lot of snow. So the roads were icy. Yet they took it upon themselves to deliver my order.

BLUF: The food was bland.
Ordered take out and it was ready super fast (<8min). The restaurant was completely empty when I picked up the food so they clearly weren't busy.
I got dumplings, crab Rangoon, and the imperial beef with fried rice. Dumplings were good so no complaints there. The crab Rangoon tasted good but had way too much filling in each bite. That may be a perk for some, but I found it too much.
Then came the imperial beef. The portions were generous, but the volume was probably 60-70% broccoli and the broccoli was a complete disappointment. Tasted like frozen broccoli that had been briefly streamed with no flavor. I ended up throwing most of it out - a rarity for me. The fried rice was also bland with no flavor and it didn't taste fresh at all. It was basically old brown rice with some strands of egg thrown in. The beef was thankfully good. Not great, but it had good flavor.
Overall I was excited to try this place, but I won't be ordering again.

Very nice quant little restaurant. Best crab Rangoon I have ever had!! Good lunch specials. They accommodated me in adding tofu rather than meat, they are vegetarian friendly. I hope they stay for many years to come.

Oh my gawsh, authentic hot mustard? They still give the wonton crisps? Service amazing, food even better, serving sizes for the price unbelievable! Its been a while since I found a good Asian cuisine place like I remeber when I was a child. Definitely take this as a sign. Don't walk run, you wont be disappointed!
We read good reviews about Penguin’s Kitchen and decided to give it a try. It lived up to the hype. The Mei Fun noodles were probably the highlight. Excellent flavor. The portions are very generous as well. We’ll be back. We dined in and Wyatt was an excellent server. Very polite and well-mannered, qualities that are often in short supply these days.
