I had a pickup order about a week ago and when i got home the family size Mac and Cheese was missing and the chicken tenders were cold and rubbery. Was unable to drive back to the store as it was a ways away and people at home were hungry. I filled out the online survey they sent and selected that i wanted someone from the store to contact me but they never did. I figured after a week of no contact i would write this review. My family and i usually go to Cains and thought we would give this place a 2nd chance after having a bad experience 4 years ago. I should have just never returned. I will not go back here and will happily tell people why.

Thought we would try this instead of the chicken tender place around the corner. First if all, we were kinda concerned that at 12:15, the place was pretty empty. I ordered a 4 piece meal, but asked for something besides fries, which the menu says choice of side. I asked for slaw, she said they no longer have that. Then I asked if I could get a side salad. (I'd seen that option on their online menu.)She said sure and that's what I ordered. Got our food, strips and his fries were fresh and hot, toast was good, but the salad was NOT fresh. When we got home,my husband noticed that we were charged for the salad and the meal price was the same. If it was an upcharge, she should have told us. Will stick w Raising Cains!!!!

I took my family in last night to eat dinner on Halloween a bit before 8 o'clock. The food was not what I expected at all at first, the frys were cold the chicken was too. I talked to Kristin the manager working last night and she went above and beyond to make it right. She cooked all of our food fresh which was absolutely incredible. Also gave us some coupons to use next time we come in and also threw in a free desert jar! Thank you for taking care of us and actually caring for a customer! Slims ya dont pay that lady enough!

We used to visit here every Sunday evening, then the food quality started to slip. Thought I’d give them another try tonight. Chicken sandwich was not even edible. Tiny chicken breast that didn’t even cover the bun, and it was so over fried that it was chewy and parts of it I literally could not bite. With so many chicken spots in Liberty, I’d pass this one on by.

This is a decent place to eat at, so don’t take my review as a common experience. I’m really just posting this because I can upload photos of a sandwich I received. On this particular night (9/23/25 at 8:35pm) I got the cayenne ranch chicken sandwich meal. The onions are usually fried strings but I got them in big slices, I could only finish half of it. Kinda ruined my dinner, the batter they use for the onions was still wet.
I busted my ass in the rain at work today.. just wanted to treat myself. So yeah, I’m a little salty about it.

Stayed at the hotel next-door and walked over the food was served right away. I got it to go and it was like I ordered and it was hot when I got back to my room. I ordered two of the sauces the barbecue and the honey mustard. They were both good and I got the chick box the three chicken strips with french fries and garlic bread.
Stood at counter while people in kitchen talking. Cashier sitting by drive through looking at phone. Took several minutes to notice me and 2 other people standing at counter. Put the phones down! Then I go to the dining room to locate a table. Mind you, 3 people when I walked in just hanging out. I had to search for a clean table. I was the only person at this point in the entire dining room and had to walk around to look for a clean table. Do better, I enjoy coming here but not if continues to lack cleaning and service.

NOT a safe place for your family to eat.This was the absolute worst experience I've ever gone through in my life. I was eating with my family & then we were interrupted with one of the Slim workers who is PREGNANT & was trying to FIGHT a CUSTOMER which is unacceptable. There was a manager who was in between them but the aggressor was definitely the pregnant Slim's worker because this went on for 5 minutes & that worker needs to be FIRED immediately. This place has been going under but this was the final & the worst experience that will make me NEVER step foot in this hostile establishment again. I also will be telling everyone I know so that they don't have to worry about an employee coming out & trying to fight them as well. This is outrageous & this place needs to be shut down immediately.
