One star review due to the website gave the impression one could order a cup of coffee and pet cats. This is not the case. Yes, you can order coffee; if you want to drink your coffee, tea, etc with the cats they will want a $6.99 fee for 25 minutes. Could have been a great experience if the website gave clear information upon how to make this experience happen.

We had a lot of fun at the this cat cafe. So many friendly kitties. The staff were all super nice and the drinks we got were delicious. It sounds like you may need to make reservations on busy days though just FYI.

My kids and I stopped in here this past week. We were brought in by the quirky names of the cookies posted on the window! My oldest chose the freeze dried candy, while my youngest chose the macaroons. They were both delicious! The shop provided great viewing of the cats, and had I known I may have made a reservation to go in and spend time with the cats. I believe a reservation is $15 a person, and I'm not sure if they allow young children or not. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant.

We took a small group here for my daughter’s 11th birthday party, and it was absolutely perfect! From booking to bubble tea, everyone was so kind, helpful, and accommodating. The cats are sweet, playful, and snuggly. Great vibe—perfect for the party! We’re so grateful and we will absolutely be back!

Great place! Staff was kind, cats were adorable, food was good! After reading through the negative reviews, I can confidently say most of these people probably are stretching the truth. Both workers were very kind. You’re not allowed to pick up the cats, which makes sense because we are strangers, and a lot of cats don’t like being held anyways. The workers are clearly concerned about the well being of the cats first, which is amazing. This place is really nice and they’re doing great work for these kittens.

This was my first time visiting a cat cafe and I absolutely LOVED the whole experience!! My daughter and I had such a cool time hanging out with all of the beautiful kitties. The staff is friendly, helpful and informative. The drinks are incredible and the gift shop has so many cool souvenirs!! I 100% recommend Sugar Kittens Cat Cafe!

Such a cute place! I was so happy to discover a cat cafe that wasn't all the way out in KC. They have a lot of different food and drink options; I had a lavender boba tea and it was quite good! (The prices were a bit higher than what they had on the website though!) The cats are also so much fun; they have a lot of different toys that you can use and plenty of fun spots for the cats to hang out! Some of them will also just nap on you, so you really get the full cat experience lol. You can also tell that the workers really care about the cats, which was nice to see. :)
