I had been wanting to try this place and sadly, I'm sorry I did. Got seated pretty fast. It was almost 10 more minutes before anyone took our drink order. We had to ask for more chips and salsa when we ran out. We were on our second round of chips before our orders were taken. The food came out and of all plates, the 2 children in our group were last. We had to remind them twice about one of the kids food! We start eating and let me tell you, a can of dog food probably had more flavor than this stuff. Taco salad had water in it, chicken breast was thinner than a McDonald's burger, wings had so much sauce on them you couldn't taste the chicken, trash can nachos should have stayed in the trash, my 3 year old grandsons fries had some green crap on them.
We were all paying separately and they still combined some of the tabs. Not once did the waiter come by and ask if everything was ok. We had to holler to get drink refills. If I could give no stars, I would! We won't be back. Disgusting!

When we showed up there was not very many people. We showed up and we had 11 people. The service was terrible, all the adults got their food before the two kids. We even asked multiple times when their food was going to be brought out. It wasn't until I said about to flip a table if my child doesn't get his food, is when they brought it out. Not to mention the food was bland, my mother-in-laws taco salad was super liquidity. I don't even think they know what salt and pepper is.

We stopped for a much needed food break. Seated right away, and we got our drinks and chips really quickly.
Food was mediocre. Flour tortillas did not taste like they were cooked, just opened up from a package and food was thrown on them. It was terrible and we didn't eat the rest of that meal.
We filled up mostly on chips due to that. No horchata but I can understand the economic choice with that. If nobody orders it but visitors passing thru, then it's a waste of money.

The bathroom situation, though. The floor was absolutely disgusting. The walls were pretty dirty too. I get the esthetics, but that was just plain dirty. Please clean the walls and floor regularly. It does make a difference!
Overall, it was a quick meal, but I doubt we'll look to stop here again on our next trip. It just didn't hit the spot.

OML I would've never thought the food would be this great in unknown or of the way joint in Licking. Definately worth the trip or if you're close by don't pass this place up. It's worth trying and the prices are just as good as the food. Bring yourself a designated driver if you're contemplating on having one of their margaritas. They don't skimp on the tequila!

Great family restaurant. Even the owner came out and talked with us for a bit. It was very nice. That’s the best part of going out here for me. It’s always a friendly, happy environment. I took my youngest son here for his 21st birthday last year, and they made him feel very special having his first margarita.

This was the absolute WORST Mexican food I've eaten. Very bland. The atmosphere is great but definitely not worth the cost. I'm from a southern state that serves Fantastic tex-mex food. ??
