Sat waiting for over an hour for food to come out. When it arrived the fries were cold and the food was mediocre at best.

Went to Twisted Pickles in Linn, MO, for the 1st time on 3/1/24. Always saw this place was crowded, checked out their menu, decided to try it. Don't know what the problem was here, but we got some of the worst service from our waiter. The restaurant was not overly crowded. But this kid was the only server in the room. Came to our table prompt, everything went down hill from there. He took our drink order, food order, at the same time. We sat there and waited while he brought drinks to all other tables that sat after us. Finally a female bartender asked us if we wanted anything to drink. Told her the kid had already taken our order. She asked what it was, told her mine was a margarita, she asked frozen or on rocks. Told her kid told me they didn't make frozen, told her frozen. Husband had ordered Voo doo Ranger IPA. She then brought our drink order. We were sitting right next to salad bar, so I could see all the orders being put up. An order was put up that looked like ours. The waiter put ketchup & tarter sauce cups on the plates, then he let them sit there. He proceeded to wait on other people, clean tables, empty garbage cans. Another order came up, the bartender came to get the order, and deliver it to the bar room. Another order came up for a couple that came in after us. The waiter took them their order, while ours was still sitting there. The waiter continued to do cleaning, other chores, while our food sat there. He finally went back to where the orders were put up, talked with the cooks. He then put his hands on our orders for the third time, finally brought them to us after they sat there for 15 minutes or more. Our fish was not hot, more like warm. Husband's waffle fries were cold. Not sure what the problem was here. The waiter was polite, but his service was some of the worst service, we've ever experienced. Not sure if we'll be back, because our 1st experience with Twisted Pickles, was not impressive! So no stars for service. Maybe this is why the parking lot was not packed as we had seen it before.

Took the family to this restaurant on Saturday with a big surprise we were told it was in between breakfast and dinner and would have to wait until 11:00 which was about 10 to 15 minutes witch was not a problem the problem was when we ask for something to drink the waitress said she couldn't start a tab until 11:00 so we ask for water and couldn't even get that The little waitress said the cook was in a bad mood and she was scared to ask him if could get drinks so i have to say to the cook you need to treat your waitress with kindness . I have never in my life been to a restaurant were you couldn't even get water to drink thats the first thing they usually ask anyway we decided to go to chops on the other side of town
