Nice little friendly place, seemd like the place neighbors come to have a bite to eat and catch-up.

Had breakfast there this morning. Ham, scrambled eggs, hash browns, toast. In my advanced age I don't eat nearly as much as I used to. By the time I was half done I was full. However the food was so good I kept eating until it was all gone. The wife had a pulled pork sandwich and fries. I had a bite of hers and it was delicious also. We seldom pass through Louisiana during Izola's business hours. We will be making an effort to get there when she is open in the future.

Super sweet woman cooking, serving, and cleaning up for her guests from her kitchen. Good food and great coffee. Definitely be going back.

I have had breakfast here a couple of times and it was very good. It's a small diner, cozy, and everyone is super friendly including the fellow patrons. If you're looking for a small-town diner, this is it!

An outstanding mid-western homegrown breakfast! Cooked from scratch. Small but mighty. Great coffee, food and service with a smile. We’ll be back!

The only other option in town seemed to be a Hardee's. We enjoy local fare whenever possible. Our drink order was taken by another customer. Twenty minutes later a server brought one of us a drink and then took the food order (though we'd never been given a menu). 30 more minutes passed and the second of us received their drink order. Soon after we received our food order. The food was mediocre breakfast fare. Nothing special. The dining area was filled to capacity with 17 people inside the building. Fifty minutes is too long to wait for biscuits and gravy, hash-browns and an omelet. If you are in a hurry, go to Hardees or even the local gas station.

Tiny restaurant, fantastic food! Local Patrons and owners are very nice, everyone shares the duty of bringing coffee around.

An experience that you shouldn’t miss. A slice of americana that is disappearing everywhere. Down home country cooking at its best. Ramshackle appearance is genuine, but don’t let it prevent you from coming in for pie, pork steaks or tenderloin.
