Amazing food and service. Great customer service.
I'd like to thank our waitress, Tiffany, for taking such great care of us today! My Grandpa, my daughter, and I made the trip to Macon so Grandpa could show us where he grew up. We stopped in at The Apple Basket for lunch and Tiffany made sure that my daughter and I were able to choose something safe for us to eat. (We both have Alpha Gal allergy.) The food was wonderful and all the staff was very friendly. If we are ever back in town we will definitely come back by!
Great food and great people. Highly recommend. Usually places with big menus have a bunch of mediocre stuff, not here, it's excellent
Smothered chicken with green beans and baked sweet potato was heavenly! Service was great thanks to Zoey and Bert the nice lady who checked us out. We wish you well on repairs after the flood damage! Tasted a lot like our food in NC!

Great food and excellent customer service. Food was hot and fresh, with large portions. We will definitely be back.
Best banana cream pie I’ve ever eaten! Portions are big! The waitress took care of us like family, making sure we even had forks, spoons, etc. to take back to our motel room. Definitely recommend and will definitely go back

If good ol family cooking suits your taste this is the place for you. I had the hot beef and it was excellent.
You can see the improvements they have made in updating their restaurant including the bathrooms.
It looks like they have a side area you could bring in a group for more of a personal dinner meeting.
At any rate you owe it to yourself to stop in for a meal.

The best food I’ve ever had at a restaurant. You can tell that there is so much love going into their homemade food!! The staff was amazing. The portions were HUGE! I wish I had left room for dessert because they had all kinds of homemade pies and strawberry shortcake etc. I guess we will just have to back ?

The food is always great! The service is usually great too! Parking can be poor at times as it's located down town.

Lunch was great! I had a chicken bacon ranch wrap and it was good and big! I’m so glad they are able to be open while repairing and remodeling. I’m excited to return next time we are in town to see what they are able to accomplish!
Staff are very kind and helpful.

We were traveling back to KC from Michigan and got hungry. Looked up some small "Mom & Pop" restaurants in Macon. This was a great choice! Sweet staff, great food and cute restaurant. Told our friends and they're going to stop by too!
