We were traveling through Macon from Chicago and read the reviews online. The food was fabulous. We had the country fried steak, cheeseburger and onion rings. Everything was so delicious. And the previous reviews on the onion rings were correct. They were amazing! Will definitely come back when we are visiting

A good place for breakfast. Friendly people. Average diner fare for lunch with some highlights. Pork tenderloin sandwiches are huge and are good. Quality of onion rings varies from ok to excellent and if you get a good batch, they're really great. Desserts / pies are fair. Coffee is ok but they only have Coffee Mate creamers (not real dairy Half&Half). Service is generally good and the staff really hop to it often, especially during peak hours. Prices are reasonable.Parking: Parking is limited to free street parking and can be difficult during peak hours, especially lunch.

Went here to have lunch with friends. The pies and desserts are a major plus here. The fries and chicken were fantastic too. Just a typical food but in good quality. The servers were friendly and the menu was fairly priced.

The food arrived quick, and was absolutely delicious. I had the shrimp wrap, and my partner went with the daily special. We were both really impressed, not only with the taste, but with the quantity, as well.The menu had a nice variety, which was unexpected. We noticed several items that we will definitely try on our next visit. Highly recommended.A shout out to the nice server who introduced me to the house made sweet chili sauce. It was amazing! She had given me a free sample and even included several fries to go with it. An absolute delightful member of staff.Other:Establishment was clean and very spacious. Restrooms were clean and very roomy. Parking is on street. Keep this in mind, if visiting during busy hours as parking might be further away.

When the service is good, it is an overall good experience.But there are times when the service is slow to the point of breakfast taking an hour and a half.I would not go to this restaurant if you are on a timeline. The service is too variable.
