they need to replace the salt and pepper shakers. the tops have mold under them. not just on one or two but every one of them. I've brought the issue up to management and was told it would be taken care of. that was 6 months ago. when I returned last week for a follow-up still the same. USDA IS MY NEXT CALL...Kid-friendliness: rude when called on the unsanitary conditions...

In town visiting, we decided to grab some breakfast instead of cooking today, wish I would have cooked! The waitress seem friendly and checked on us. We placed our orders, nothing difficult at all, biscuits and gravy, pancakes and sausage and simple breakfast with eggs scrambles with cheese, bacon crispy, american fries and toast. For as long as it took, our order should have been cooked correctly, but that was not the case....the gravy had no flavor and was cold, no cheese on the eggs and the bacon wasn't crispy. The waitress was informed, she offered to have the eggs remade or bring some cheese, I decided both and requested the bill adjusted and only apologized for the cold gravy.

Five plus to be honest was passing by from vacation and stopped by which we try and patronize the local haunts and this was a home run all around food excellent price super low and the quantity was over load. If anyone is cruising up or down Missouri highway 36 pull into Macon Missouri and drive down bussiness rte 36 to this restaurant come hungry and be prepared to eat and I missed out leave room for the dessert which they make fresh daily they will treat you like family a one place to stop and eat

OMG this is my new favorite place!!!! We will be stopping here every time we go thru town. I was beyond excited to see creamed peas on the sides menu!!!! Brought me back to when my grandmother would make them!!! So so good wish I would have skipped the fries and got two orders of creamed peas!!! My family had French toast, and pancakes and bacon, and their burger on Texas toast with grilled onions it was all so good. Like old style home cooking like my grandmother made!!!!! Prices were very very affordable! Finally a place where a family could go set down have a great meal and not have to take out a loan to pay for it!!!!!!
